Actually, it's one of the first places I tend to look for information. I use it almost every day for one thing or another. And most of the info is accurate. I just wouldn't quote it in a school paper or any kind of professional publication, or anything like that. I might find something on it that I want to use in a paper, but I'd find it in another more reliable source before actually using the information. And I agree that the citations are good leads for further info on the topics.

I like the name of the costume shop I used to work at in Austin: Lucy in Disguise with Diamonds I've also seen an ad around here for a place called "Doggie Style," which I believe was a dog-grooming business.

Yeah, I understood that. I was just pointing out that the reason for having an abortion is usually different than the reason for taking someone off of life support. So I don't agree with him that the two situations are the same. (Similar, perhaps, but not "the same.") -
I had a Spicy Italian sandwich from Subway. (One of the un-healthiest menu items they offer. But at least it had tons of veggies on it. )

Making the decision to take someone off of life support is not the same as killing someone because they have AIDS. The person on life support is generally in a position where someone else has to make medical decisions for them, and sometimes that decision is to take them off of life support. ??? I have no idea where you're getting that from. I am pro-choice when it comes to abortion, especially in cases of rape. I have no idea what I would personally do if I was pregnant due to rape, and hopefully I will never find out. If it was my daughter, it would be her choice. I have always been an atheist, yet I have morals. You don't need religion to have a sense of right and wrong. And what religion teaches you is right or wrong is not necessarily so. (But that's subjective, of course.) -

Well, not really. Someone on life support is generally ill. I think that the majority of abortions are performed because the mother does not want to be pregnant, not because the unborn baby is ill (though some are done for that reason). You don't have to believe in a god in order to have moral reasons for not having an abortion. And regarding the "if" that you asked about in your previous post, I think it should be the woman's choice. -

How do you feel about contraception? Do you think it's OK to deny the egg the right to become fertilized? Or do you think that the egg has no rights until it becomes fertilized? -

I don't think it is very compassionate to force a woman to carry the child of her rapist. And doing so is certainly not defending her freedom. I think it is more compassionate to let her make that decision. -

Are you filing business taxes, or individual taxes? Individual. Is there typically a fine for overpaying business taxes?

Why were you fined for overpayment? I've never heard of that. Any time I've overpaid, I've been reimbursed with no fine. (But then I'm no tax expert, so I'm sure there are plenty of things I've never heard of.)

Well, actually I would suggest that he try the awesome German mustard that I have in my fridge - much better than Grey Poupon. But I don't suppose they have that at most burger joints.

Yep. If you asked me a few weeks ago to name a beauty queen, I'd have no idea. But now if you asked me, I'd probably be able to remember this woman's name, or something fairly close to it. As for the cheeseburger thing, it's just silly all around. It's silly for the righties to be making a big deal about it, but it's even sillier for the Dems to be trying to cover up the fact that Obama likes the spicy mustard. I mean, what the hell??? Just let the press take pictures of him with a jar of Grey Poupon next to his burger and be done with it. Anyone who is pretending they're not going to support him because of the type of mustard he eats, probably wasn't supporting him in the first place.

I'll agree with kittikat that it looks like a type of bromeliad - probably a guzmania, but I don't know exactly which species. They sort of look like a lily, but it's a different type of plant. Why do you people deprive your poor pets of drinking from the toilet bowl? I figure if that's what they want, let 'em have it. I mean, they lick their own butts after all. Only one of our four cats drinks from the toilet, and he's the one that used to live with Frank. I've been wondering if he learned that from Frank.

Well, Dijon mustard plus no ketchup on a cheeseburger is pretty lame. Did he order arugula on it too?

Austin has the Alamo Drafthouse theater which is sort of like that. They serve beer and wine and pizza (and some other kinds of food). I don't think it's that cheap though, except when they show the free old B movies.
