Don't they make you pay a $25 annual fee to participate in their rewards program? I was looking into using that card because the rewards sounded so good - until I realized you had to pay them to get rewards... or did I misunderstand it?

I just walked back in from smoking the first cigarette I've had in ages... but I put it out half-way through because it was making me feel like I wanted to vomit.

The amazon.com Visa sounds like a good deal, but probably only if you buy from amazon a lot. I've thought about switching to them, but I rarely use my Visa card. (I use Discover for just about everything because they seem to have the best rewards.)

My prescription drugs are reasonably priced, but I'm definitely paying WAY too much for the damn street drugs! Where can I get those cheaper??? -
I had tonsillitis when I was in my early 20's, but for some reason they didn't take my tonsils out (maybe because I didn't have health insurance at the time?)... I remember the illness being very un-fun though. Good luck with the tonsilectomy tomorrow! Sorry to hear you don't get to eat ice cream though - I thought that was supposed to be the thing to look forward to after it was done!

Somehow I've missed this thread before... I agree with Jimbo - Snopes should be required reading for anyone with an email account... And I don't think it's bad etiquette to point it out to people who forward stuff to you... it's more like doing them a favor. (but I tend to be a bit of an a$$hole, so what would I know about etiquette??? )
