Yeah, unfortunately there wasn't much to see :-( Though it was funny seeing all the Aerosmith dudes dressed just like Jeb ;-) I'm sure those kids got some better footage of their own, so hopefully we'll get to see it soon...
-
Nah... surely Steven Tyler wouldn't do anything that crazy! Well actually, I did see Aerosmith in concert back when I was a youngster, and that dude was pretty damn crazy...
-
Ah, well perhaps the learning should begin this Sunday. Will you demonstrate the way of the RedBull/Vodka for me? I don't think I'm allowed to drink whiskey anymore because it makes me crazy. Oh, and this site has some better pics: http://glasssteelandstone.com/US/TX/HoustonReliantStadium.html It says the height is 265 ft., so I guess that must be about right.
-
That's good. If I had to sit in the Bombshelter to watch half the Super Bowl, I'd be passed out on the floor WAY before the halftime show started!
-
Skyscrapers.com lists it at 260 ft., but it doesn't look that high to me... http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=134832

I haven't found the stats yet, but judging from this photo I could imagine some interesting activities taking place. And judging from the person who told me about it, I'm guessing Tom is right that it might not be a skydive.
-
Hmm, I guess that sounded bad. Not THAT good.
-
Ok, so no one will tell me WHAT is going on, other than that SOMETHING is going on... so I have been instructed to watch the Super Bowl Pregame Show because apparently it is something I will want to see (even though I'm not a football fan), and it might be something that you guys will want to see too. (I'm assuming it's something involving parachutes???) So I'll be watching it on Sunday, probably up at the Bombshelter... and if I can figure out how to use my VCR, I may even record it. (I don't know if I was supposed to say anything, but since I don't really know anything to tell I guess it's ok??? ;-)

I used to have an Alfa ('81 Spider), but I had to sell it when I moved to CA because I needed the money :-( I often ordered parts from International Auto too. Oh yeah, and I became good buddies with my mechanics during the time I owned the car - had their phone number memorized within the first month of owning it ;-)

Well today, my profile says: Oh, and some of the forum names were interesting today: Oh man, every time I go to that pornolize site it brings tears to my eyes... I should really start doing something productive now...

What did you want to be as a kid when you grew up?
Shotgun replied to prepheckt's topic in The Bonfire
I wanted to be a Hurricane Hunter. I saw a show about some people who did that... They were in a helicopter flying in the eye of a hurricane, and I thought that would be a really cool job to have. But now I'm not so sure what I want to be when I grow up (if that ever happens)... -
Oh, and I found a new job for you Ivan, at Zoovy. Along with the typical Product Support Specialist or Perl Developer, etc., you can also apply to be an Apprentice Sith Lord:
-
And I like Cornholio's "Anal" List too. And Deuce "Superdick" Oh, and yes I DO make for a great Friday night... just ask my kitties!
-
That's pretty funny. I like companies that are to the point and have a sense of humor. Is that the Blizzard company that makes the Diablo games?
-
Yeah, I know it's been posted before, but I had never pornolized dropzone.com myself - until now... (for some reason it just popped into my head and I had to try it) So my favorite posts were: And of course I had to look at my own profile, which showed my hobbies to be: Actually, the whole site had me rolling on the floor laughing. For any of you that don't know what I'm talking about, just ask Ivan - I'm sure he knows.
-
Cats, definitely cats... Not sure why, they're just freaky.
-
Hmm, I'm not sure if you're being serious or if this is some sort of lewd comment.
-
That's good... Does that mean I get a Happy Meal for Valentine's Day?
-
Yummy.

So now I'm looking at the website of one of the US companies that is hiring... and I've gotta love their Russian Girls 3D Screensaver (with the additional "College Girls" and "Teen Girls" packs you can buy). Sorry Ivan, looks like their boobs are all covered. Hmm, interesting company...

So I'm searching the web, looking for an entry-level photography job (which is very difficult to get of course, but that's another story...) and I get to this one website... I'm reading their ad and it's all the normal stuff til it gets to this: For some reason that just cracked me up - not your everyday employment ad. I like their straightforward attitude though. If it wasn't for the fact that they're in the UK (and I don't want to move countries) then I'd probably apply... (Full ad here if anyone's interested) Has anyone else seen any funny stuff while searching through employment ads?

Just carryin' on an old... family tradition.

No snow for me :-( Though I do enjoy seeing your snow pics :-) This is what was outside my window today. (Sorry for the watermark - I've been playing with new "free trial" software today ;-)
