  1. Ok, ok... I'll be checking it out soon... Oh, and is the soundtrack as good? "Bride of Chucky" is one of the best soundtracks ever made. Seriously.
  2. It's better if you snort it.
  3. I've been in a lot of different aircraft, and I think ultralights are probably the most fun... I guess it all depends on what you enjoy about flying, so different people are going to get their kicks from different things...
  4. I forgot about "Seed of Chucky"! I haven't seen it yet because I was waiting for it to come out on dvd... but it looks like it's out now, so I'll get it soon.
  5. Then you have obviously never seen "Bride of Chucky"... one of the best movies ever made.
  6. I went to church with George W. for a while, back when his dad was Vice President. I don't think I ever met him, but I would see him and his wife there on Sunday mornings sometimes. I did meet George Sr. once though, at a small airplane hangar in Pecos, TX.
  7. Ok, now that this has been moved to SC... I can say that I don't think Scientology is any more wacko than Christianity is... And actually I don't consider either one of them to be "wacko"... but they both have about the same amount of validity in my opinion. And I don't know much about Tom Cruise except that he seems to have done a very good job of getting a lot of people to talk about him lately.
  8. Ah ha... Is that how Jason hits some of those high-pitched notes?
  9. Scott Petersen wasn't a celebrity. Why did this trial get about 1/100th of the Petersen coverage? Hmm... good point. I can't answer that one. Personally, I read as much about the Marcus Wesson case as I did about the Petersen case (very little), but you're right about the Petersen case getting a lot more media coverage. It may have something to do with how much the families of the victims try to get the media involved(?)... I have wondered why some child abduction cases get a lot of media coverage and others don't, and that is one of the reasons that has come to mind.
  10. I saw it in the news quite a bit... but I get most of my news through Yahoo (and it was in their headlines a few times)... Not sure why it got so little exposure compared to the Jackson trial, but I guess it has something to do with our society's obsession with celebrities.
  11. That one isn't a banner ad; it's the title of the column (which is probably always presented by Visa): http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8260050/
  12. Yeah, that is ridiculous to expect him to know the exact time he found her. If I found my husband collapsed, I don't think it would enter my mind to look at the clock to see what time it was. I'd be a little more concerned with things like... umm, saving his life.(!) I can think of a few traumatic things that have happened in my life, and I certainly wouldn't be able to say exactly what time they happened... I could take a vague guess, but it would most likely be a couple of hours off at best.
  13. Just curious... I've only lived here for about four years now, so I don't have much experience with earthquakes... Were there quite a few smaller ones (like we've been having lately) before the Northridge (or any of the other larger) quakes?
  14. I voted "No" because that was the closest answer to how I feel, but that's not entirely true... The past does matter to a certain extent, but not really the "Ho/Dog" aspect of it... There are way too many things to list that might contribute to someone's past making me not want to be involved with them, but what it mostly comes down to is whether it makes me perceive them as being an immoral or untrustworthy person (according to _my_ perception of what is "moral".)
  15. I would prefer not to sleep with any of them... But if I really had to choose, I'd have to say Arnie.
  16. I didn't even feel it! Rich said it happened a few minutes after I left the house. He said it shook the house pretty good. I guess I didn't feel it because I was driving(?). When I got to school, everyone was talking about the earthquake that just happened, and I didn't even know about it!
  17. Yep, that's where SC belongs... yet you chose to bring it over here. Umm... I'm not sure what a "hikack" is, and the only thing I think of when I hear the word "shredding" is Pantera... so I gotta go listen to some Cowboys from Hell now...
  18. Well I think you just justified derogatory name-calling yourself by calling someone a nut.
  19. Ok...... I'm not even sure who you're replying to now... So I'll just agree on the "whatever...." part. You seem to be offended by the word "homophobic" and that's your right, so I'll just leave it at that.
  20. Oh, ok... I'll take your word for it. I don't think I can handle reading two whole articles about the NFL in one day (or in one year, for that matter).
  21. The way you originally wrote it sort of sounds like you think she is talking about you. Either way, I have seen plenty of people who defiintely exhibit homophobia (beyond simply not caring for homosexuality themselves), so I don't really see why you are assuming that she is calling someone homophobic without just cause.
  22. Name calling and put-downs come from both sides of the fence, eh? I don't agree with homosexuality so therefore I'm "homophobic"...yeah, whatever.... She said that she knows "some skydivers" that are extremely homophobic. I don't see how that translates into her calling _you_ homophobic.(???) But to answer the original question... I have no idea how many gay skydivers I know because I don't usually ask people what their sexual preferences are. I can think of at least a few that I know because they are open about it... And one who _claims_ to be gay, but I'm not so sure that I believe him.
  23. Hmm, I seem to be looking at your naked bum at the moment, so I guess that makes me a horrible person too. Damnit, you ruined my perfect record of innocence! Until now I had never looked at naked people on the Internet before.
  24. Sorry, I couldn't resist laughing at that one. My favorite car I've ever owned was a Fiat, and no offense to the Italians, but I wouldn't exactly throw it into the category of some of the best engineering in the world. (I'm pretty sure there is a reason why Fiats have the nickname "Fix It Again, Tony". ) Now maybe the more expensive Italian cars are different... I wouldn't know about those... Oh, and to answer the original post in this thread... I think the NFL should be able to interview and hire whoever they want... But it sounds like the rule about interviewing minorities is something that was set by the league itself, not by the government(?), so it's really no one's business except for people involved with the NFL.
