Now that's grounds for a beating. You want to beat Rich??? Ok, well I'll tie him down for you... Dork.
-
How sweet of you to name a cliff after me. 666 is my lucky number...
-
Well there is no doubt that getting women drunk has played a huge role in the proliferation of the human species... so it would make sense that the ability to make alcohol would be one of the traits that would survive.
-
Did you remeber to bring yours? No, Rich took mine away from me.
-
Because this place is a sausage fest? ("dork" meaning "penis")
-
No, but he should get a blowjob from him and then lie about it under oath... and then he should be impeached.

They're just slightly different: And again, I don't know much about Gnosticism, but here is a brief definition:
-
I don't know a lot about Gnosticism, but I don't think that it's exactly the same idea(???). Either way, I'm sure that Anne Rice was not the first person to have the idea of Satan being good while God is evil, but she writes a good story about it.
-
So, does that mean that you do not believe in the devil (in whatever form)? (I never realized that Satan and Lucifer were not the same thing.) And, since you have such an interesting interpretation of what god is, do you believe in Heaven or Hell?
-
Yikes, for a second I thought you were one of my ex-boyfriends... but his name wasn't Matthew. And AlexCrowley: I meant "Satan" as in "the Devil, the evil adversary of humanity," or something like that... Although in Anne Rice's "Memnoch The Devil," she has an interesting concept that Satan is really the good guy and God is the evil one, and that humanity has long been tricked... but that's a different topic.
-
Ok... But do you believe in _Satan_?
-
With all the talk of whether or not people believe in God, I am curious to know how many people believe in Satan. Now obviously anyone who believes in the Christian Bible must believe in Satan, so I am interested more in hearing from those who have their own interpretation of "God". Do you also have your own interpretation of "Satan"?

I actually SAW one of the rodents this morning!!!

We don't get rats in our kitchen because they would become immediate cat food, but we have some in our backyard. Rich and Frank caught one for me one day (for some reason it amused them to give me a rat as a present). I kept it in a cage for about a week and then we released it, after deciding that neither of us wanted to have to clean the cage. Moonshine and Iggy really wanted to play with it... -
It's been a little over a year since my last jump. Don't know why really. I have about 60 jump tickets sitting in a drawer, but I just haven't felt like jumping. I haven't completely lost interest though... I guess I will jump again when I get the urge.

Licorice mixed with a cherry and orange flavored drink??? That sounds kinda nasty, but then I don't really like licorice anyway... but it makes the name of the drink sound more interesting.

I don't see how taking care of the sick and infirm would keep humans, as a species, from evolving.(???) And since I was just informed that my huge manatee link doesn't work (it works for me!), I'll just post the pic. (I know everyone has already seen it, but it really cracks me up. )
-
Oh, ok... I haven't even looked at any of that stuff, so I'll check it out.
-
Yeah, maybe it will make more sense if I watch it again. It was a little bit confusing (especially for my little pea-brain).
-
I like Sloe Comfortable Screws... A vodka screwdriver with a shot of Sloe gin and a shot of Southern Comfort... A recipe for a lovely hangover.
-
So I finally got around to watching this movie... a few weeks ago... and I still can't decide whether I liked it or not. It was certainly interesting to watch... though at parts I was a bit embarrassed because I was watching it with my 12-year-old nephew... I don't think he could decide if he liked it either, but we both agreed that it was very strange. And we both liked the demonic bunny.
-
Yes, the huge manatee...
-
My theory is that the "aliens" that people have seen (like this one) are really humans who have traveled back in time from the future... because I think that is what we will evolve into - genderless, hairless things with big heads (to accommodate the larger brains).
-
Wow, this is great music.
-
Yeah, one that they sort of borrowed from Memphis Minnie.
