  1. Most people with commitment issues feel this way An open relationship is still a commitment.
  2. Sure... Let's say you and I are fucking our brains out every night.. And dating other people. You know I'm a horny devil, I know you are a horny she-devil... Unless you trust me IMPLICITLY massive amounts of insecurity and mistrust would come from me dating another woman. Policy being.. How do you really know I'm holding up to my end of the bargain.. How do I know you didn't just blow the guy you were on a date with? The same way that you would know I didn't just blow some guy while I was out for the evening doing something other than hanging out with you (which I would still be doing sometimes even in a non-open relationship) - you would trust me to tell you if something like that happened (or to not let something like that happen in the first place). Just because someone is "allowed" to go out on dates with other people, that doesn't make them any less trustworthy than someone who is "not allowed." Having had a bit of experience with open relationships, I would say that that has nothing to do with being faithful or not. I personally find it easier to trust someone in an open relationship, but that's just me...
  3. Enforce policy??? How do you do that in a "normal" (non-casual) relationship? Other than either trusting them or keeping them on a leash 24/7? I don't think I would want to date anyone (casual or non-casual) who thought in terms of "enforcing policy" regarding our relationship.
  4. Sure, why not? It's fair to ask and tell them what you want; hopefully they will be honest with you about whether they would be comfortable with that situation or not.
  5. I haven't seen the whole calendar, but I've seen a few of the pictures and they were not very racy or anything (maybe I missed the racy ones?)... Is it really so bad that you can't take it home? (And I assume that by "can't take it home" you mean because of family that might be offended?)
  6. If one is to believe these statistics, then going to the doctor is more dangerous than alcohol consumption... So I think I'll cancel that appointment that I have with my doctor today and get drunk instead.
  7. I found it! I wasn't even looking for it anymore though... Typical, how you find things when you quit looking for them. I had something emailed to me tonight about the "Secretary" soundtrack, so I had gone to Amazon to look at that. Then I noticed someone's Amazon list of favorite soundtracks that I clicked on for some reason (I don't look at those very often), and "The Virgin Suicides" soundtrack was in their list, which caught my eye because that was a good movie. So I was checking that out, and one of the reviews was talking about the band that did the soundtrack - a band called Air - and mentioned that one of their previous hits was "Kelly Watch the Stars" and I thought hey that's that song! So I did a search on it, and all I could find was a very small version of it, but at least I finally figured out what the song was. http://rds.yahoo.com/S=96781308/K=%22Kelly+Watch+the+Stars%22/v=2/SID=e/l=VDP/SIG=12dehm7cp/EXP=1127363564/*-http%3A//boss.streamos.com/real/astralwerks/air/kelly56.ram And I'm sure that everyone really wanted to know that... but I thought it was funny.
  8. I'll have to give you a recap next time I see ya. Ok, remind me to bring the studded gummy worm.
  9. My attention span has declined to the point where I can't listen to a whole album at once anymore, so I just picked out my favorite songs. And I've listened to it from beginning to end so many times that I think I pretty much know the story by now. That's a good one... "I need you... to beat to a pulp on a Saturday night... Oh, babe... don't leave me now..."
  10. I didn't know about him being a musician. I'll definitely check that out. I just had a quick look on Napster and they don't have anything (of course), but I'll find it somewhere else.
  11. Uh oh... The Hitler comparison has been made.
  12. Oh, and I seem to recall talking to you before about liking Marilyn Manson's music(???). He has some interesting artwork too: http://www.marilynmansonimages.com/mansonpaintings.htm#artjump2
  13. Nice avatar. I like Dali a lot too. One of my favorites of his is Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bumblebee around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening. It reminds me of the bizarre and extremely vivid dreams that I often have. (In fact, I have a journal with that picture on the cover, sitting next to my bed, and sometimes I write my dreams in it when I wake up.)
  14. Was it Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell"? I like that album too, especially the song "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" - one of the best love songs ever written.
  15. Oh, I wanted SO much to go to that show! I was 18 years old when that happened, and I had just moved to Austin and was living on my own for the first time. I called around and got prices for plane tickets and such, but I just couldn't afford to do it at the time. And actually I have never listened to that album...
  16. Yeah, that's a good one too. I had a tape of it, but I don't think I have it anymore. (None of my tapes ever lasted very long!) I remember when "The Wall" first came out - I think I was about 8 years old. I would go over to one of my friend's homes - we were all into the Bee Gees at that time - and her parents were playing "The Wall" quite a bit, and I remember thinking it was total crap and wondering why they liked it so much. It wasn't until I was about 14 or 15 that I listened to it again and realized the beauty of it... I still like the Bee Gees too though.
  17. Have you ever seen any of Dr. Kevorkian's paintings? You can view some of them here. I like the one called "Nearer My God to Thee," but they are all sort of interesting.
  18. The whole thing is good, and the movie is good too (I have to get that - Rich has never seen it!)... But do you have a favorite song from all of those??? I think my favorite is "Nobody Home" ("I've got wild staring eyes, and I've got a strong urge to fly, but I got nowhere to fly to.....")...
  19. Nine Inch Nails' (Trent Reznor's) "The Downward Spiral" was like that - tells a story and worth listening to from beginning to end. Hmm, I haven't listened to that one. Bowie, eh? Sounds like something that I need to listen to.
  20. Ok, well that's not from "The Wall," but that is a damn good song... Now you made me go and download that one too. "We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year..."
  21. Mine sings too. Ever heard of the movie "Chatterbox"? Ok, well that wasn't a penis, but it could sing...
  22. Ok, this has always been one of my favorite albums, but I haven't listened to it in a few years because I only have it on vinyl and I no longer have a turntable (hmm, I need to correct that problem!)... So I just felt an overwhelming urge to listen to some of the songs and couldn't wait to order the CD... So I went to Napster and bought my favorite songs from the album: "Waiting for the Worms," "Hey You," "One of My Turns," "Comfortably Numb," "The Thin Ice," "Mother," and "Nobody Home." Does anyone else love this album as much as I do??? And what are your favorite songs?
