  1. I'm wondering if part of a dream I had this morning was influenced by this thread... I was walking with an older woman, and she asked me if I would go camping with her sometime. I told her yeah that would be fun. Then she stopped and looked at me and said that if she was a little bit younger then she would really like me. I thought it was sort of odd, but we kept walking... And then she said, "So, do you think that your gayness is a destructive issue?" I was about to answer her, but then I woke up.
  2. So far, I haven't seen anything better than Chronicle III. But I've only seen about half of the videos on your list.
  3. Ditto. I don't think they're idiots. They just sound like a couple of people who actually read the waiver and decided it wasn't acceptable to them. The people I am more concerned about are those who simply sign their life away without reading what they're signing and/or without understanding how dangerous even a tandem is.
  4. Hmm, I've never heard it called a porn star exit, but yeah I've done that. And yes, it's a good position for kissing... French kissing even, while falling through clouds... Oh, nevermind...
  5. Ok...we will count cutting them off - but only if the use of a big sharp knife was involved - no scissors. Hmm, I don't know what they used. I was only just starting to wake up after being knocked unconscious. Probably scissors though.
  6. Great, now that's the visual I'm gonna have stuck in my head all day. And for all of the guys who are voting "I'm a guy - anyone from my preferred sex is fine" - you guys are just way too uptight. Get over it and go get some man-love kiss passes.
  7. The only reason I can think of to take the bible, or god, or any type of religion seriously is because it affects a large majority of the people I share the planet with (including most of my friends and family). And therefore, it indirectly affects me. But for the most part, I tend to make light of it because that makes it easier to deal with.
  8. I'm guessing somewhere around 50/50, but I really don't know.
  9. I love this thread! That does have to be one of the funniest lines ever written in any of these religious threads. (Sorry, Mockingbird.)
  10. _____________________________ You named it! The very best version of the Anthem...EVER! When I got married (to my now ex-husband), we had a guitarist playing "Here Comes the Bride" in the same style that Jimi played the National Anthem.
  11. Yeah, that's what he said. And that's how I put the other silverware in. But I have a serious knife phobia, so the sharp knives have to go the other way - and they seem to come out clean anyway. Sicko.
  12. I went back and read my rec dot posts one time, and I decided that I would never do that again. But at least I was never drinking when I posted on there. On here, I've done way too much drunk posting... so I have no desire to go back and read my old posts.
  13. We do??? Hmm, I guess I didn't get that memo. I've never had any interest in trying to change anyone. Well, I did finally train Rich to put the sharp knives in the dishwasher with the pointy bit facing down, so I guess I did change him somewhat.
  14. Ok, I know it's a Slade song; I'm just being a dick. But it never would have been popular if Quiet Riot hadn't covered it.
  15. Dude, that is a Quiet Riot song.
  16. Happy Birthday, Kim! And best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  17. I'm wondering if there are any who are *not* hot! Ok, Walt has finally won the trophy for female-skydiver-asskissingness.
  18. I looked at their website, but it only mentions hotel rooms and bungalows (which appear to be booked for the next century, at least). Do they have a restaurant or bar?
  19. There's a wax museum!!??? Cool, that's my kind of thing.
  20. I guess I should have mentioned that I'll be going to the Viper Room at night. Those comedy clubs sound like fun though! Might be worth a trip back some other time... And I'll check out the shopping around the Kodak Theater. I've only been to Rainbow late at night (and always had a good time ), but that might be a fun place to check out during the day... and I've never eaten there. Is their food any good?
  21. Don't be such a buzzkill, man. Wow, that is the largest menu I have ever seen! I don't think I would ever make up my mind. It looks like an interesting place though...
  22. What's your favorite thing to do on Sunset Strip, or in the general vicinity? Clubs? Restaurants? Shops? Anything else? Just curious... I'm going down there either tomorrow or Wednesday, and I'd like to check out something new.
