  1. Is it possible to get your B & C license at the same time if you have the right amount of jumps?
  2. I think anytime your can get training for something you are trying to accomplish is a good thing. Yes, I've been out of the sport for a while but I feel solid in the air and I have a goal. Phillbo, can u give me any pointers? I'm hungry for info on how I can fly better.
  3. Last Sunday pumped out 4 coach jumps up at Parachute Center with Ed from West Coast Wingsuits. Here's 3 out of 4 jumps https://vimeo.com/44676505 Super pumped on the training with Ed and looking forward to strapping on the real thing except I have 68 more jumps to go. Got a tracking suit coming my way from Intrudair which is going to be a blast to fly. I felt like body position was totally different to what I've been taught. It's kinda like going switch on a board. All in all Fired Up
  4. I jump Lodi last Sunday and did 4 coach jumps with Ed learning correct body position for wingsuit flying. https://vimeo.com/44676505 Lodi rocks, a lot of real good jumpers out there and jump tickets are super cheap. April 18th I got current again, last jump was in 1999 up in Tahoe. Since then I've rocked out 17 jumps. I live right next to Los Angeles airport and I've only jumped at Perris since getting back into the sport. Soon going to hit other drop zones in the area. I work during the week but am able to get time off. Hit me when u get to SoCal and hopefully I can hook u up with a ride there.

  6. You could go with Plan-B: Do you AFF @ Bay Area Skydiving, rent a home on Discovery Bay or rent a house boat on the delta, then through your own parties. Tracy and Stockton are the closest major cities near by. Don't know how the night life is there but you could hit up San Francisco for night life. Lodi is killer and cheap but it's in the middle of no where. I start jump at Bay Area Skydiving, jumped Skydance as well as Lodi. I've transplanted to Souther California and jump at Perris. Haven't jumped at San Diego or Elsinore. Going to hit up San Diego since due to the dust devils @ Perris.
  7. here's your answer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yefvQF05wxs&feature=youtu.be
  8. Majority of my jump I've worn a SK8 helmet. Works fine and I wear normal skydiving google.
  9. I've looked at smoke jumper pants and jacket. i've even watch a youtube video of how to make a homemade tracking suit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rheJL5_q_4E I'd rather spend the money and buy a real one so I can get dialed in flying it.
  10. I'm ready to buy a tracking suit but have no idea which brand to get. Can anyone share their experience fly any of the following tracking suits? Phoenix-Fly http://www.phoenix-fly.com/products/wingsuits/phoenix-fly_tracking_suit Intrudair http://www.intrudair.hu/skydivesuit_trackingsuit.html Pressurized Tube 3 http://www.pressurized.at/products/tube3/ Are there any other companies that offer tracking suits? I'll be mostly be skydiving in the tracking suit and a long way down the road possibly some big wall base track jumps. thanks for the help

  15. yes it's an eclipse. bought it from stunts adventures when they where located in santa cruz. just shipped off to a loft rigging to get serviced. it's going to be a blast to jump it again. doing my recurrency jump next month
  16. So I brought my rig into work so I could mail it out at lunch to get serviced. Before I mailed it off made a quick green screen video. Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fgE1r8xzCM
  17. I work in production and your best bet would be to get an Apple computer with Final Cut Pro. Don't bother with any other editing software. A very large majority of the production industry uses FCP. If FCP is out of your budget, Apple provides iMovie & iDVD with the operating system. iDVD has templets which are drag and drop. You could even simplify the process by just importing the footage and dropping it into iDVD, then burn the DVD. In this case the footage would be raw and un-edited. If you are going to find a high school/college student, most likely they'll be editing on FCP. To generate more revenue off the videos, offer your customers the options of having the chance to buy a digital version. People love to post their video on social media sites. Plus you can bug the video with your logo. The digital options I would go with would be YouTube and iPHONE to start with.
  18. Took my 6 year old son to iFly Hollywood and he had a great experience. Can't wait to bring him back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NO7lxqdR16o&feature=BFa&list=UUHCFCQMb4fGZOcH7DX_pCMQ&lf=plcp
  19. Couple more weeks till I do my recurrency jump. Super pumped, my last jump was in Sept of 1999 @ Skydive Lake Tahoe. Have 115 jump under my belt so far. Since My last jump had a chance to hit the wind tunnel. The session went pretty well. Heres the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHnD6-vmW1E&list=UUHCFCQMb4fGZOcH7DX_pCMQ&index=3&feature=plcp Before I mailed my rig in to get inspected and repacked, I made a quick green screen video at my work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fgE1r8xzCM&list=UUHCFCQMb4fGZOcH7DX_pCMQ&index=1&feature=plcp I did majority of my jumps up at Bay Area Skydiving and Lodi. Now living in SoCal and can't wait to hit up the drop zones down here. Anyone live in the southbay area who jumps?
