Hey Vixen, welcome to dropzone! I'm looking forward to finishing off my A license soon too. I just started jumping in June and then left for the mid east in sept, but I'll be home in BC soon jumping like a maniac i hope

Sorry to read that, I've been over here in the mid east since Sept. We just had a helo of ours crash on a ship not to long ago....everybody thankfully made it without serious injury. I've flown in Blackhawks before, i'd be curious to hear what happened. "life is tough, wear a helmet"

Hmmm nervous huh? I was pretty nervous the first time i went, I jumped outside Halifax. Itwasn't as bad as i thought though. And once I did it I knew that it wasn't a mistake....hell i was back on the plane again in 20 min My guess is your going to be fine because you'll have someone to jump with who will take good care of you and give you some words of encouragement "Ignorance may be bliss, however ignorance will not last forever.....and the truth after is twofold"

So I woke up this morning in Manama Bahrain....in the Sheraton there to be exact. I realized that my tv had internet.....so here i am...greetings from half a world away. unfortunatly to my dismay there is no dropzone here.....SO back to old faithful..the DZ that is always there. DZ.com I am still looking forward to be being able to jump soon though, anybody jump in cairns Australia? I think I'm going to get a jump there when i fly in there later this year. I'm actually heading to hungary and the Czech Rep to visit some family so maybe I'll get one in there too...god i need to jump bad.....well enough of my ramblings, thanks dropzoners for giving me a view to the skydiving world while i'm in the middle east on tour. 42 jumps at eloy! Nice, congrats on your 100th. I'm still floating around the ocean in the mid east here, no jumping for me. But soon enough I'll be home again, hope to finish my A lic. as soon as poss when i get back so i can jump when i travel. take it easy congrats on the 100th again. Winnipeg?? Funny I'm on HMCS WINNIPEG! go figure. Umm yeah the mast is too low i've looked at it.....I asked the helo crew if they would take me up if i bought a rig but that was responded to by glares and a few smiles....i think they thought i was kidding......

Hey, I just figured out i can post on dropzone from my ship.....go figure. Just wanted to wish everyone here at dropzone a merry Christmas and happy new year. I've been on deployment to the middle east since sept and so havn't been able to jump at all....I'm getting pretty itchy about it. If anyone has any good stories of late i wil take any skydiving news i can get....send them here or to my email on the ship user884e@dnd.ca Hope everyone had a good christams, and drink a few for me on new years. :)

well I'm on the left,,thats me...just a regular joe... and guys what is it about women skydivers??? has anyone done any scientific studies on why they are soo damn appealing to us?...hmmm i see a government grant and a study in my future "I've seen better decisions mad by a ouji board"

Well i don't have to worry about this..i live in Canada...we all have health care...hope your government decides to do that or you soon...maybe spend less on bombs and more on you guys

I'm in the area once in awhile actually i'll come down to the dropzone and bring a keg of canadian beer....watch all of you try to remeber how to walk... I'll just hang out with the other sober guy...if he is still aorund.. Steve Therapy is expensive, popping bubble wrap is cheap.

Thanks mouth..i will...and don't worry i wasn't listening....like i said this is my second tour in the gulf, just got back less than a year ago....seems i have done more for their country than they have...ironic isn't it........just kidding guys. "I've seen better desicions mad by a ouji board"

Well today was my first day back to work after enjoying 24 days of leave before i head off the middle east next month....It wasn't too bad i started by going to Team training for my boarding team....In the navy we use a team to "board" other vessels in search of an assortment of things they could be smuggling, i.e. guns...drugs...oil out of iraq....anyway our teams are now being used to look for any terrorists trying to flee the region (middle east) buy boat...and it seems to have caught the eye of tv producers....The discovery channel is sending a crew down to tape us during some of our team training and then go to sea with us for a bit...So i get to be on a tv show on the discovery channel...called "Forbidden Places" it's cool because i love the show and try and watch it when i can....I'm pretty happy ps i had to edit this cause i noticed i'm not a "newbie" anymore...Enthusiast?? how did this happen...what a great day

cool maybe i'll get to see you jump it sometime...if your on the island in the next 3 weeks or so....then i'll be gone till march.....our dropzone is great....just alittle plane to but it gets us where we need to go...great crowd i'm sure you would like it "I've seen better decisions made by a ouji board"
