  2. I take it that you don't follow competitive hockey. Those guys (and gals) play hurt. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  3. Were the Lions ever there? Of course the Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons have actually won in the past. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  4. That's the job of the parents. The teachers jobs are to educate the children in knowledge and marketable skills to help them succeed in the working world once they leave the nest. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. Doesn't happen often, but I fully agree with the professor here, at least in regards to the teachers in the classrooms. School administrators? ... not so sure about them. Or maybe I have let a few bad apples (like the mess that is going on in Ontario) spoil my view on the Edu'crats Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. Troll? Almost everyone who frequents the Dork Zone's SC is guilty of troll behavior (at times myself included, I'm not innocent). Just look at those who have followed since your post (Jakee and GeorgiaDon) who are trying to bait me into their traps. But of all people to throw out the troll label? Your whole professional existence is to be argumentative regardless of whether or not you represent the truth and to attack whoever opposes you. Yet you have the nerve to use the troll label? How could I forget just the other day you accused me of conspiring to make death threats against your children. Where that came from who knows, it was so far over the top I don't know where to begin. Progressives love to play the victim whenever it suits them. But you are no victim. You are a highly manipulative predatory person. Pot meet kettle. The arrogance of the progressive mind never ceases to amaze me. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  7. The progressives here at the Dork Zone may not think anything is wrong with this Rolling Stone magazine cover, but that does not mean other people out there in the world think it is appropriate. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23340329[url] Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  8. Let's back up a second here and see where we came from. I was making a comment (a personal opinion) that the only reason why we are where we are with this issue was because the media has blown the whole incident up far beyond anywhere where it should have gone, and this Andy character took exception to my comments and went on the attack (apparently I am not entitled to the opinion that the Consensus Mainstream Media is dishonest). Then he made a silly remark saying "why don't we all slit our wrists". Seeing that I have the personal opinion that lawyers are sleeze bags (with all due respect to lawrocket who is a good guy), I made the comment of "go ahead make my day" and now it has escalated to where apparently I am now making death threats towards his children? For fuck sakes can this whole thing get any more retarded. Want to know what is wrong in America these days, look no further than the dishonest media, the predatory lawyers, the special interest groups and the corrupt politicians (who are pretty much all lawyers) who cater to the media and the special interests to keep their wheels greased. PS: let he/she who has never made a spelling/grammatical error in their life cast the first stone if my spelling and grammar do not live up to their standards. 9. Make my day, slit your wrists ... with all due respect to lawrocket (who is a good guy), this world would be a much better off with less slime bag lawyers in it. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  10. I love the elevation changes of that track. But it does appear to be a tad big for the single speed TAG karts. It's probably much better suited to the 6 speed shifters. Nevertheless ... cool track. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. There is not one ounce of honesty coming from the Progressive's Consensus Mainstream Media. The way they portray Martin as an innocent young teenager is no different with how they portrayed Canadian born Jihadist Omar Khadr (the man who confessed to killing US medic Christopher Speer in Afghanistan). Picture of Omar the media always uses A little more recent and more accurate sketched at his trial a few years ago Picture the media definitely does not want to show ... picture of the Jihadist making IEDs. Just the usual dishonest BS the Consensus Mainstream Media feeds us on a daily basis. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. Look no further than the Progressive's control of the Consensus Mainstream Media to see the root cause of all this crap. The media created this mess and the media continues to fuel this mess. The Consensus Mainstream Media is so corrupt without a shred of ethics, they would throw their own mothers into shark infested waters and proceed to chum the water if it meant furthering their agenda. 13. Pretty sure it was sarcasm from GM. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. Do you know what your children are doing when they are playing with your smart phone? Do your children know what they are doing? Toddler accidentally buys dad 1962 Austin Healey Pretty funny, but also potentially disastrous. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  15. In the video I saw from one of the local TV stations last night (Global News) here in Calgary, you do not see very much deflection on the tail of the canopy. Looks like he didn't flare or if he did it was too late. He appears to have pounded in. These military demonstration units are not always the most experienced jumpers compared to the guys/gals who work in the business, who jump every day and who also do demos. Oh and the media (as usual) have been a complete joke concerning this incident. But mistakes happen, we are all human. It's just that most of the time there isn't thousands of people watching when you pound in. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  16. Laguna Seca is a cool track, I have raced the virtual version of it in iRacing. But I can only imagine what the Corkscrew must be like in the real world. Don't #### up there, that's for sure. There are tons of tracks I would love to try. Laguna Seca, Road America, Watkins Glen, Sebring, Mosport, Road Atlanta, VIR, Millerpark, etc, etc, etc. But two tracks I would give my left nut to try are Spa and Nordschleife (the Nurburgring). For your friend who gets to drive Laguna Seca, I am envious. But I must also remind myself and I am only 1.5 hours drive (in good weather) from the Lake Louise ski resort. So I too am close to some world class fun in my back yard. But I got to say the people in Utah are perfectly situated. Not far from Moab, Eloy, the Perrine Bridge, and close to the Salt Flats plus having Millerpark and all those ski resorts in their back yards. Too bad many of them are mormons. But mormons can have fun and be adrenaline junkies can't they? LOL Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  17. I think it stinks that the police searched and seized firearms in every home in High River. The police were supposed to be protecting the homeowners from the looters when the police themselves became the looters. But I am waiting to see what transpires before I pass final judgment on this issue. The police had already decided to enter every home in High River regardless of their firearms seizure goals because they were looking for people and pets who remained in the flood zone. I have mixed emotions about searching for people in the flood zone, but I supported the desire to rescue all the helpless pets who were left behind. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. 18. Why would I be asking for an additional inquiry? We waste enough money with government BS. I don't agree with everything politicians say. I was just correcting your statement that Danielle Smith was a failed politician. The fact that the Wildrose Party failed to win the last election has little to do with the seizure of these firearms, so there is no point going into the details of why the Progressive Party of Alberta continued their 40+ year dynasty ... but those of us who actually live here, know what happened and only time will tell the fates of the Wildrose Party and the Progressive Party of Alberta. 19. Yeah that was a recent race when DZ.COM's own Turtlespeed entered a race with the rest of his clan and proceeded to box me in. Damn Turtles ... Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  20. How is Danielle Smith a defeated political candidate? Last time I checked, Ms Smith won her MLA seat to represent the constituents of Highwood (which includes the town of High River). Not only does Ms Smith represent the town in the Provincial legislature, but she lives there and you think she should remain silent on the issue? 21. The Kart isn't the best accelerator from a standing start. There is not a lot of torque at low RPMs. The secret to the Kart is to keep your momentum up in all the corners. But it has awesome acceleration from about 7000 RPMs to the rev limit of 13,800 RPMs. My 993 (not even remotely close to being a really fast car) can do 0 to 60 in about 5 seconds and it's a very forgiving car to learn on. Not too fast, but definitely not slow. However I believe I need to adjust some of my driving style between the 993 and the Kart. The Kart has no rear differential and no suspension, so you need to be smooth yet abrupt with your control inputs on the Kart to get that inside rear tire lifted off the ground while you corner. If the inside rear is not unweighted, you will be scrubbing speed. Seems like a fine balance between being smooth yet abrupt. I have had the more experienced Karters comment that I am definitely not slow, but that I still driving the Kart like I drive a rear engine Porsche and I need to learn to break that habit. But how? LOL So much still to learn ... Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  22. 200 laps will happen sooner than one thinks. But yeah I likely will be getting one, but I don't want to distract myself in the pits yet fiddling with a camera because I need to be paying attention to the mechanical condition of the Kart and my body first. But I am sure I will get one. They are good tools for analyzing your line. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  23. Love the elevation changes at that track. Very cool. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
