  1. I jump a Vengeance 135 at 1.67. Ive noticed just using one riser produces more forward speed at a shallower decent angle. Where as two risers seems to come in steep but not as fast. Do you know why exactly, this happens aerodynamically.
  2. Do you make your turns using just one front riser, or both front risers pulling one down further than the other? Why?
  3. Kurupee freefly suits have a velcro loop that holds the slider down. Works pretty good.
  4. Make sure you check out Summerfest next year. It was even cooler than Rantoul. Five of us drove out from Nebraska. We spent a few days in both Rantoul and Ottawa, and all agreed that Summerfest will our destination next year. Way cool people! Can't wait to go back.
  5. I have a Jedei 150, the power part of the flare starts around my shoulders. Lots of flare however not as much as my Vengeance 135 probably partly because it is so much older and more experienced. Glide is fairly steep but if you use rear risers instead of brakes it will flatten out pretty good. Any of you Jayhawks coming to Crete, NE for the SkyVan on Saturday?
  6. Quote But since PD doesn't have a competitor to the Crossfire2 (yet) and I'm not really up for a Stilleto, I'm likely going to be flying a Crossfire2 (or maybe a Samurai) as my next canopy PD makes the Vengeance
  7. Triathlon would be my pick, similar to the Spectre only easier to pack and there are alot more used ones so the price would be lower.

    Sit flying

Try putting your hands and arms back as far as you can and push with them against the air until you get upright. It would be similar to laying on the floor and pushing against the floor with your hands to prop you upright. Feet must be pressed down also.
  9. My, new rig will have 2 pillows after seeing this picture of a friend with his hand wrapped around my D-ring.
  10. How does the Jedei compare to the Samari and the Vengence in your opinion?
  11. Considered getting a Vengence 135, but I got a Jedei 150 instead really happy I did. I strongly believe the learning curve has been faster than if I would have gotten the 135. Had my first pond swoop last weekend
  12. What if you forget to cock your pilot chute with a pull out? The pin is pulled, bag is loose no pilot chute? Seems worse than a throw out where at least your pin will be in until the pilot chute inflates its self and then pulls the pin. Thoughts appriciated.
  13. Hixxx, It sounds like your in need of a daily dose of Rush.
  14. I generally start off tracking on my back, seems you can see where everyone else is going right off the bat.
  15. Does anyone know where the new aerodyne canopies are manufactured?
