  1. Thanks Gretchen. Spankings are always welcome when delivered by hot younger women.
  2. Students need a Cypress, RSL (reserve static line), and a hard-shell helmet until an A-License is achieved. All three become optional after that point (though some dzs here have made Cypres mandatory) There are no restrictions that I'm aware of from the USPA regarding SOS systems. The ST&A should be consulted on an appropriately sized student rig and canopy for a non-licensed jumper. In the US, every student rig I've encountered uses a BOC (bottom of container) deployment system, though I'm sure there are exceptions.
  3. 1:2:0 1 broken bone in my right foot (stress fracture) diagnosed on Friday 2 jumps Saturday anyway because it was a beautiful NJ day - you can't beat 65 degrees in mid-Nov.
  4. 1) Just about any bottled lager (Harp, Yeungling preferred) 2) Canadian beers 3) Skydiver on Acid shot (okay, we sorta just made this up at the bar near the dz. It's basically just a surfer on acid with midori mixed in, but it tastes mighty fine.) Anyone else make up skydiving related shots? Please include ingredients.

  6. Hey, my name is Matt and I've been an avid reader of dropzone.com for a couple months and just decided to join the conversation. I started skydiving in NJ last summer and pretty much spent every waking moment of my free time this year on my new passion. I call Skydive Jersey Shore home, but I get down to Crosskeys on occasion. I travel a bunch to other dzs - including the WFFC - and I'll be at the Eloy New Year's Boogie. During non-skydiving hours, I'm a reporter for NJ's largest daily newspaper. Thanks for offering this updated format to welcome new folks.
  7. This makes 2 posts. 365 jumps.
  8. I'm new to dz.com and only know Stacy from Rantoul, but you can add me to the confirmed list for the Eloy boogie (arriving 26th, leaving 2nd). I'll be there with more than a dozen knuckleheads from my Jersey dz. MD Ps. Stacy, I'll be sure to bring your Rodriguez bros initiation photo. Everyone on this thing seems to be very fond of boobie pics (and who isn't).
