Brotherhood of the Wolf (French) was great on the big screen. Cinema Paradiso If you're lucky you'll have a local video store (Not a chain like Blockbuster) that'll have a big foreign section.

Other ones to watch Delicatessen (French I think) Better than Chocolate (Spanish) Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Those were produced by Film Four which is the UK production company that also did Four weddings and a Funeral. Seven Samurai (original Japanese movie that The Magnificent Seven was based on) Prescilla Queen of the Desert (Australian) Just a few off the top of my head I liked Run Lola Run

I kind of liked it myself. Bit slow in the beginning when they're developing the characters (particularly Mel Gibbson's) but better than many so called scary movies that stick with the Hollywood formula. Hollow Man stands out as a really bad example.

Internships If your grad school program will allow you the time off take internships over the summer. You get to earn real money and the work experience angle helps for when you graduate. That's what I did and I'm still doing it but I'll never get to jump as often as I'd like. Read wuffo girlfriend who doesn't like flying so the chances of gettingher to leave the plane are slim.

I was explaining to friends that I was getting a weight vest so I could fall quicker. Smart arse friend of mine Quote. "If you want to fall quicker why not just attach a bungie cord to the ground?" He was taking the piss but it was funny all the same.

I was taking the trash out this morning only to lock myself out as I'd forgotten my wallet and keys on the table. Spent half an hour pounding on the door trying to waken the roommate's girlfriend so she could let me in to no avail. Walked to the gas station where I called the roommate to drop off his keys. Then I sat outside my apartment nursing sore knuckles and feeling stupid. The rest of the day was fine but my knuckles still hurt. Luckily there's beer in the fridge
