Actually I was thinking the pov could've been faked with the helicopter that was shown in the last shot. wouldn't even have to speed it up and the pov sound is unusual...almost mechanical. blues josh

I'm sorry for your friend and pray for his recovery. However, your lack of information about Ron is apparent. He is very qualified and wanted answers to what he saw as a problem. It should also be noted that when zero-p fails it tends to fail more catastrophically than f-111. Zero-P also fails when it is packed for a long time quite often on the folds where it has been packed. Reserves, usually being packed for months without opening and use,fall into this category. blues, Josh -
Actually the vengeance is completely PD's creation, the only thing it has in common with Brian's canopies is the airlock which he licensed to them. As far as Brian's canopies go...give them a try you will be surprised by how much you like them! Josh

Let' see, it depends on how you count. I have about 20-30 real crw jumps (touched another canopy) and about a 100 where I was flying relative with others. I also have 2 silver medals (US nationals 2002) in CRW and I don't even have the requirements for a 4 stack award. How is that possible? Josh

There are several reasons that you will see more chows in that video. 1) Pond Chows are spectacular for videos and people generally like to watch them, so the good people who make these videos cater to that. 2) At this particular meet there are rounds that require water landings. It's pretty rough on gear amd people who have to buy their own gear sure don't like to do this. But, it is fun to watch and I don't see it going away from that particular meet. 3) Sometimes competitors push themselves very hard at these meets. The pressure is big and the money is big so they may make choices that are not conducive to a safe landing hence the water and the inevitable chow. Most experienced swoopers don't fall into this trap but some do and sometimes culminates into something bad. Anyhow hope that answers some questions. cheers, josh -

Yes it's illegal, however the volume of any one camera flyers business is not anywhere near what would be attractive for the music industry to sue. You could also make the argument that you would sell the video even without music because you are selling the jump not the music but it might not hold up in court. They try to stop mass produced videos thats where they could actually make money. josh
