Im trying to be the best friend that I can possibly be but I dont want to tell her that everything will be alright and go according to the way she sees fit because thats a farce. We are who we are. I have been trying to convince her that over time it will change and that skydiving PERIOD is worth all of the BS. And yet it would still be a descision that she would have to make on her own. As to whether or not she enjoyed jumping Im unsure of her thoughts. She says she enjoys it at times and at others shes really undecided. But thanx for theadvice. I was talking to a friend of mine thats still somewhat new to the skydiving world and she said that she's thinking about quitting because of all the male comments she gets and how much she gets hit on...I told her basically well if you cant handle it you don't need to stay cause your always gonna get it whether your male or female and thats just the way it is with skydivers, it will come and go you just have to give back the crap you get. Like when it comes to friends or family which is what we all are. No hard feelings. I still get shit all the time, so what, life goes on. She then basically told me in fewer words to goto hell. I asked a few close friends if I was wrong in what I said and they all said i was correct, but what do other people feel on this. I didn't mean I didn't want to remain her friend, however she asked and I'm blunt when asked a question straight forward. Im sure this may seem odd but I know Im really late posting on this but if anyone here is from georgia or one of the surrounding states and is planning to fly out to eloy for the boogie Ill foot for fuel for the plane if you could give me a ride out and back. Ok well I was at the DZ this weekend and was talking to one of my brothers and he was discussing that hes getting old so when he loses his legs if he does that he wants to be able to jump in his wheelchair. Well Im sure with junk day and such someone has allready done it but he said he wants to be able to land in it. At first I took it as a joke but then remembered that this is coming from a guy that fired a bottle rocket out of his ass on the 4th of July. But Ive been trying to figure out how we would mount the rig and such. I was thinking rig up something to mount the container on the back of the chair and maybe weld or bolt a 4 or 5 point racing harness to the chair so he doesnt fall out. Ive never done it before so I dont really know. Well Ive tryed to figure out how to get back into my profile and change that...Ive been off of student status for quite a while now I just dont know where to go to change that and such. - GQ ... it was the love of the air and sky and flying, the lure of adventure, the appreciation of beauty ... -Charles Lindberg

OK yeah yeah I know I dont have many jumps yet but as time goes by theres no doubt I will but either way I was seriously into wakeboarding until I took up skydiving. However I get an adrenaline rush just watching videos of people doing it. Im asking to try and figure out what all Ill need to do in order to get to that point and who Ill need to talk to. And what DZ offers training. I live right in the middle of georgia and its about the same amount of time to get to any of the surrounding states. HOwever Im gonna be taking up sit-flying soon which from my understanding is something you have to be good at before you should even consider takeing up skyboarding. Ive had some people tell me that its dying out and some people tell me that its too much hassle but that means nothing to me.. Not gonna let that stop me from accomplishing something Im interested in doing. If anyone with any knowledge or experience could give me their input it would be a lot of help Im not saying this is something Ill be doing right around the corner it would be cool if it was this easy but thats not the case. Im just trying to figure out where I am at and where Ill need to be. Thanks for any help that you can offer.
