Although there are things that haven't been the most pleasant in my life, I would not want to change because I may not end up with my son and daughter and my three wonderful grandkids. ::0 Got rained out two weeks ago and had to reschedule my AFP 1 & AFP 2 jumps for Saturday. Nice blue skies and little wind. Finished ground school and then JM and I packed my chute. And then the darn winds came up and kept increasing. Had to reschedule and now it is another two week wait. Drat! I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

Nathan - It took me 20 years to get up the courage to leave a job I hated. I gave up a well paying position without any prospects and never looked back. One of the best decisions of my life. Good luck and good future. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

But, this is the most important thing you can do for him. He will eventually grow through this and develop his friends, but he will always look at you as his parent and will eventually realize how lucky he was to have a parent who cared enough to set limits and provide structure. Couldn't agree with you more. Last time I saw him I told my dad I'd see him in a couple of days when I came home for the rodeo. Got a call about 8 hours later that he was gone. You don't get to make up for what you missed. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

Welcome to the sky. I work in field service for a company that makes remote control equipment for railroad locomotives. My territory is about 25000 miles in circumference. Most of the time it is interesting, but can be very boring at other times. Since I travel so much, I am looking forward to getting my A license and being able to jump at different DZs.
