  1. Another source to consider would be the more experienced jumpers at your DZ - ask them what they think of your canopy skills and listen. If they haven't seen you fly & land, recruit them to watch you. As I was downsizing from a student canopy, I sought out advice from many different instructors and told them what other instructors had mentioned to get their reactions.
  2. I've worn contacts since I've started and never thought twice about it. I use the cheapy goggles that the DZ gives students. You know, the ones you purchase there for about $5. Never had an issue.
