  1. How many H/C manufacturers do YOU know of in Northwest Iowa? Someone's gotta do the measurement. Better a tailor than someone that lives in my dorm. cavete terrae.
  2. Don't get me started on this. The fact that the assclowns at AT&T/Cingular decided to go with a WHOLE NEW FREQUENCY chaps my ass like a walk through the desert in snow pants. cavete terrae.
  3. Yeah, it's a pretty good deal. The 4GB Mini was $200, this is smaller, has a colour screen, and flash memory, so I'm happy to pay the extra $50. The battery life is less, but c'est la vie. 14 hours vs 18. cavete terrae.
  4. $200 for the 2GB model, $250 for the 4GB. There's a $20 educational discount if you're a student. With overnight shipping and tax, mine was $256. cavete terrae.
  5. It's flash based, which is why I bought it. It's not actually the jumpsuit flapping, as much as it is the fact that there's not enough air pressure to create a proper air cushion between the drive heads and platters, so the heads physically hit the platters and eventually die. cavete terrae.
  6. Nah, I worked my ass off this summer, hehe. Being single has the one advantage of being able to spoil MYSELF! cavete terrae.
  7. http://images.apple.com/ipodnano/images/indextop20050907.jpg http://images.apple.com/home/2005/images/ipodnanohand20050907.jpg I ordered one in black, 4GB model... mmm new toys :) I was going to buy a Mini last week, but a friend of mine at Apple told me to wait. I'm glad he did :) cavete terrae.
  8. I've had my Sony PSP in my pocket, if that counts. I was playing Tiger Woods on the way to altitude cavete terrae.
  9. I can say that while I'm not a big fan of the 'hurry up and wait' aspect of things, I realise it's reality. That having been said, Bonnie @ Gravity Gear (GravityGirl on the forums) and Kelly @ Velocity Sports Equipment (KellyF on the forums) have been AMAZINGLY patient and helpful through the process of me ordering my gear. They quite seriously have restored my faith in customer service! cavete terrae.
  10. I had a tailor do it. I don't doubt it'll fit, I'm just asking if that's fairly long for an MLW measurement. cavete terrae.
  11. I often consider life to be a joke, and my life above all is a bad one, but no, I'm not kidding. cavete terrae.
  12. What the deuce is the magic bullet? cavete terrae.
  13. That's not funny. Ok, yes it is cavete terrae.

  15. Yeah, I didn't realise how long my MLW is going to be until I asked Kelly, hehe. I'm just getting excited/nervous, I should have it in a couple of weeks cavete terrae.

0:1:0 Just had a quick jump before my soccer game on Saturday. Probably my last jump until my rig gets here cavete terrae.
  18. That's not too bad. A friend of mine was having a bonfire, and was throwing random things into it, old bags and stuff in the garage, so on, so forth. Well, one of those old paper grocery bags had a bunch of fireworks in it... He had a roman candle hit him in the balls We played "Great Balls Of Fire" around him as much as possible after that cavete terrae.
  19. Hey, it's not like Sunshine holds the patent on that! Any woman can be competitive in that field.
  20. I have this sneaking feeling that Im' going to get pie-murdered at Eloy during the holiday boogie. cavete terrae.
  21. This depends on the number of applications received. cavete terrae.
