That's all well and good for you normal sized people with small rigs. As it is, my rig will just BARELY clear the carryon size restrictions, and a gear bag big enough to hold it would push it over the edge. What i do is tighten the leg straps as far as they'll go, then push them together and wrap a pullup cord around them. Chest strap gets threaded through the reserve handle 6 or 7 times and rubberbanded in place. Can't even tell it's a rig at that point, if you're a whuffo cavete terrae.

Well, I'll recommend heartily what I have: Infinity container, Fusion main. The Fusion is in the same class as the Sabre2 and Safire2, and for whatever reason is often overlooked. With the HMA lines, it'll also need to be relined less often, and depending on where you shop, can probably be found cheaper than either of the aforementioned canopies. That having been said, buying brand new gear might not be the best idea, if that's what you're planning. Brand new container makes sense to a certain extent, but the canopy less so. cavete terrae.

F1 is going seriously downhill as well, with standardized ECUs now and all that crap becoming the norm. Let them do whatever they want, otherwise it's just going to be EuroNASCAR. WRC is still the one true way as far as I'm concerned cavete terrae.

Just thought I'd post a little update to The Saga Of The Grue.. I sent my canopy into Precision for repair after it was damaged after a hard opening. I just got off the phone with George, and he's definitely living up to the reputation of great customer service out there. Thanks to him, I'll be back in the air much sooner than I thought, and I look forward to buying more Precision canopies as I advance as a jumper cavete terrae.

There was one time when I had a bunch of people over for a pizza & movie night. I asked where I should order from, and a couple of people suggested Domino's. I have 2 bodies under my porch. Coincidence? Not quite. Domino's is to pizza what Lada is to cars. One word: "float". It's not because they can't do it. It's because they don't want to do it.
