  1. Awesome, thanks Bill :) cavete terrae.
  2. What, by US Armed Services standards, qualifies as a HALO jump? Minimum exit altitude for that, and maximum opening altitude? cavete terrae.
  3. I believe all of Mullins kids were jumping at or before 15... As stated before - more of a personal decision if you all believe she is ready for it. g I can't speak for all of them, but Zack has been jumping since the day after his 11th birthday, I believe. Nice kid. cavete terrae.
  4. So you've eliminated the chance for a 'two out'? Only if I jump with pants on. cavete terrae.
  5. You're so selfish cavete terrae.
  6. YOu don't have to call me by my alias. I accept gratitude in the form of nudie pics and jump tickets. cavete terrae.
  7. I have all my notes that I typed in classon my laptop saved, along with papers, and I supply them to friends taking those courses with those instructors. Any hard copies are long gone, however. cavete terrae.
  8. I don't know why, but I can barely keep a straight face when I watch it cavete terrae.
  9. NObody's perfect In the meantime, you should watch this: http://cristgaming.com/pirate.swf cavete terrae.
  10. You weren't kidding about the silent mode cavete terrae.
  11. I'm sure I won't only be receiving one from you cavete terrae.
  12. No canopy course yet, there's never been one within a reasonable driving distance. Hoping to take one soon, however. About 110 jumps (I'm gonna get flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamed now), including everything on BillVon's checklist: Upwind, downwind, crosswind, front risers, rear risers, flat turns, flare turns, etc. cavete terrae.
  13. About a 1.35±.02 depending on the last time I ate. cavete terrae.
  14. Yeah. My freefall of course is the least of my concerns, I just want to avoid bouncing my shit halfway into Canada on landing Then again, I hadn't jumped for like a month when my put my first jumps on my 210, and that was a HUGE downsize. 280sqft F111 square 7cell to a 210sqft ZP semi-elliptical 9cell. I was glad that was a windy day, and that fucker still seemed like I was riding a bullet cavete terrae.
  15. Yeah, that's the way I'm leaning, unless I can get my hands on a demo 210 or something. I'm way more comfortable jumping my own rig than cramming myself into a small-sized Student Dolphin cavete terrae.
  16. Smallest rental we've got is a square hybrid-fabric 230, unless something has changed. Right now that's one of my options, unless I just hook something to my current rig, which has a packed and current reserve.. just no main. cavete terrae.
  17. ...and I'm about ready to snap I'm actually mildly curious about how to go about jumping my new canopy when it gets here, since it'll be my pre-second downsize. I figure I might have to go jump the student 230 we've got a few times sometime this month just to get the feeling back (new canopy is a 190, been jumping a 210), I think it'd be a little irresponsible to put my first jump in 3-3.5 months (by the time it gets here) on a brand new canopy 20sqft smaller than the one my last jump was on (though it's the same model. Fusion 210 -> Fusion 190). Thoughts? Maybe get a demo 210 or something just to get a few jumps and find my form again? My longest layoff prior to this was about 5 weeks, and that wasn't an issue, but... cavete terrae.
  18. I want to play soccer in freefall. Sit fly + weighted soccer ball. I think it's doable, in theory cavete terrae.
  19. If the kid is bigger, and isn't listening, what do you recommend? Not saying she's right or wrong, just curious... I recommend being a better parent from the start. That dispatcher is awesome. cavete terrae.
  20. Aw, and look at you now, you don't even need me anymore, just like my kids! That's not true, you still answer questions for me cavete terrae.
  21. I left it open in hopes someone would get a good one in. Well done! I just looked back, skymama helped me a lot, too cavete terrae.
  22. Hmmm ... could have very possibly been AggieDave actually. He answered a lot of my questions when I was a dumb whuffo asshole cavete terrae.
  23. It's a common thing, I don't know the reasoning behind it. I think that I've only dated a girl over 5'4" once, now that I'm thinking about it. cavete terrae.
  24. Right on!! Sex on the stairs rocks. I dated a 4'11" girl for a while. We were comedic to see together. I had to walk slowly or I'd lose her She'd make me give her piggyback rides if I'd repeatedly walk too fast! cavete terrae.
  25. EVer seen a grown man naked? cavete terrae.
