  1. ANy suggestions? Especially somewhere to get cheap international flights cavete terrae.
  2. The book was good, but I haven't seen the whole movie. cavete terrae.
  3. Thought it'd be faster. Hopefully at least a few people in the sheepfire will think about what pussifying the children of today will do to them later in life, though. cavete terrae.
  4. I find this one apropos. cavete terrae.
  5. So much for THAT theory. cavete terrae.
  6. Here! Here! Couldn't agree with you more. Winning has less to do with building character than losing does. If a kid never has to be strong enough to move on after a loosing, then how will he or she accomplish it as an adult? Therapy? Chemistry? Yea theres a solution. Just like they say in American Wedding: "FUckin' right, doggy!!" cavete terrae.
  7. We played a game called "surprise" when we were kids. Everyone joined the "club", and by joining, it meant you consented, more or less. One person would be designated "it", and the assassin would be allowed to jump out and randomly tackle anyone else in "the club" whenever he wanted for 24 hours. It'd be great when you're walking to school, hear "SURPRISE!!!!", and your best friend jumps out of the bushes and just fucking CRUSHES you cavete terrae.
  8. I'm allegedly jewish, and if a christmas rolls around where A Christmas Story isn't played at least 644 times in a week, I'm going to freak out. It's just how life is. fucking jews. Ruining everything! cavete terrae.

  10. Damned right. The only "tug of peace" in my world is a handjob cavete terrae.
  11. The politically correct crew has prevailed. Bring back childhood: Tug of war! Dodgeball (with rubber balls that stung like hell, not this pansy foam shit. There's a REASON you don't wanna get hit) Red rover (If you don't dislocate someone's shoulder, you weren't running as hard as you could) Smear the queer (If nobody bled, everyone lost) Monkey bars over concrete (Don't fall, there are consequences!) cavete terrae.
  12. watcha do ?? hope you're OK... well OK enough to post so it's already not too bad... http://spiceweasel.net/DSC00059.jpg Nothing major, just painful and annoying. Should be back in the air next weekend if all goes well. cavete terrae.
  13. My numbers from last weekend, since i couldn't post: 0:1:1 1 jump ending in my first skydiving-related trip to the ER cavete terrae.
  14. I know that my new home DZ (in a month) has cloud jumping clearance cavete terrae.
  15. YOu never call... you never write.... cavete terrae.
  16. I live! Ok, the "toe incident" Short version: I tried to do a little trick I learned on my FUsion to get a little more distance, because I didn't wanna come down on tarmac. Turns out this trick doesn't work on Sabre2s, and I fell out of the sky. Had a sweet PLF, all things considered (even ended up on my feet), then I realised not all was well.... End result: http://spiceweasel.net/DSC00059.jpg I'm pissed I didn't get to make more jumps, but I learned something, and I'll be back in the air as soon as my new canopy gets here! cavete terrae.
  17. Right about this time tomorrow, if all goes well. Maybe a bit later. cavete terrae.
  18. incidentally, I'm posting from a McDonald's somewhere between Asscrack Creek and Sodomy Plains, Missouri, using my laptop which is using high speed EDGE internet over bluetooth through my new phone. Am I a nerd, or what? cavete terrae.
  19. Continue to present your case and I'll think about it If there's somewhere to sleep on Saturday night, that'll help It's closer, we have a Caravan..there are some kick ass people that jump there, you've never been to Palatka, you will finally get to meet me, missg8tordivr and many, many more ravishing people...

  21. Well, it depends what time you guys are eating and stuff. It's about 8 hours from SDA to Zhills. Hypothetically I could get up early in the morning and be there by mid afternoon, but.... mornings? Chili does sound damned good though! I'm not looking forward to leaving for Kentucky in an hour or so, that's definitely the most boring part of the drive. But on the bright side, once it's over, it's over cavete terrae.
  22. Anyone wanna hang out with a grue? I'm going to be driving from Skydive Atlanta to Zephyrhills on Saturday afternoon/evening, just looking for somewhere to crash for the night before making some jumps on Sunday. Anyone have any suggestions? cavete terrae.
