    DONATE BLOOD!

From the BPA's MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PARACHUTE: 2.5. Blood Donors. Sport parachutists are advised that parachuting and giving blood are not compatible. Whilst the quantity of blood is quickly replaced after donation, the necessary oxygen retaining qualities required at altitude are not. Spank the

  14. I have a Sabre 1 190 and i've had a couple of hard openings. I sorted these by learning to pack and doing it myself, not had one hard opening since. top tips for packing a sabre 1, roll the tail a lot I find 10 times works and bungee the break lines this not only slows the opening but also stops line overs :) Spank the

  16. Im guessing its got a lot to do with the DZ your at, I started learning to pack student kit when I was going through my RAPS, I was bored of sitting around waiting for student lifts and student kit to be packed. I started by just watching kit get packed, then talking to the packers about what they were doing. then started to ask them about them showing me to pack, and I got told to come and find them on a bad weather day. so when it was shit and no jumping I went and found them and said im here, now can you teach me to pack :). It worked and I spent 5 hours one day going over everything. doing one stage at a time and repeating that one part till it got boring. than started packing student kit and getting all the checks signed off. now I've learnt to pro pack the same way. and the other week did my packing certificate for student kit (SL, ripcord and throw away) and also my own kit. 19. copied from the BPA mag: FAI Certificates are changing... but only in name. The FAI has advised the BPA that they should no longer be known as FAI National Certificates, and that they should bear the BPA's name instead. Since the name was changing anyway, Council took the opportunity to also change it from Certificate to Licence, since many people refer to them as licences. So from April 1st 2012 they will be known as a 'BPA National Parachutist Licence', or just 'A Licence', 'B Licence', 'C Licence' and 'D Licence'. New books have been printed for all licences issued from April, and all previously issued Certificates remain valid. Spank the
