How often do you believe the federal government?
jimbrown replied to jimbrown's topic in Speakers Corner
LOL! That's a good question. "I just want to be left alone: I have my steel belted radials and color TV, now just leave me the fuck alone!!LOL! Revolution? I haven't thought that far ahead but I know there is something wrong when your choice is limited to having the government gropeing your junk or take video of you naked when you just want to get on a goddamn flight to Miami! And why can't the boys come home? We are spending all this money around the world on wars that seemingly have no finish line! What is the goal? Can we "win" or have we already lost? I don't know what to tell you but the economy is a mess and the dollar is only worth what they say it is today. Gas prices are going through the roof ! There is oil in the Gulf and radiation in the Pacific and we just keep on going to our jobs every day like everything is fine! The air isn't fit to breathe, the water isn't fit to drink ,andwe all go on like everything is just fine!!! Well it's not fine!!!!!!!! We watch the news and today we had 15 homicides and 62 violent crimes and some how we are ok with the way our government is handling our buisiness! And this is what we are paying so many tax dollars for? We pay about 40% of our hard earned wages to tax and this is what we get? " Police need your help to find a suspect" What the fuck!! What would be a cops response if I flagged him down and told him I need some help to unload this truckload of concrete block? No I don't want you to riot .I don't want you to protest . I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the gas prices I'm not going to tell you to write to your Congressman because I wouldn't know what the hell you should say! One thing I do know is that we should all be mad as Hell right now! I want you to get mad ! I wan't you to be Mad as hell!!! Peace, Jim B. -
[reply. This seems unreasonable to me (if drivers are not being given a choice). Courts have mixed rulings about searching and seizing electronic devices during detention or arrest without a warrant. I don't see how it would be legal for MSP officers to take mobile devices and download them against owners' wishes unless they were arrested or there was a search warrant. Thoughts?Quote My thought is that anyone who stands still and allows the cop to take their shit and download it is a true Christian. It would be pretty simple to waste some forty-seven cops in one night. Thing is they have families and they too are Gods' kids. Peace, Jim B

This how we do it in the Tampa Bay Area. http://mugshots.tampabay.com/ Each county, or most of the counties, in FL has a separate page as well. The DOC has a page for all convicted felons. Good on you Ron, If this techknowlegy was available in acient times we could have Jesus pic up there as well!!! As a matter of fact I see God in everyone of those pictures. Do You? Peace, Jim B

QuoteIt's just the old joke: How do you know when a politician is lying? His lips are moving. Quote That's just crazy isn't it? That we really don't believe what our elected representatives tell us. Is that our fault ? Are we as a people too damn cynical? Or is it the governments' fault? After telling lie after lie after lie, why should the average citizen believe them today? Peace, Jim B -
"look so bad" or is it so bad? OK so controllers napped at airports where there is hardly ever a night landing. As a matter of fact the planes landed just fine without a controller. They didn't need one. So you are right, What is the political motivation to smear the air traffic controllers just now. Could it be that a group of them have recently decided to tell what they know/ witnessed on 9-11? Interesting!!! Peace, Jim B

LOL! That's quite an impressive history of motorcycling! Personally I average 3000 miles a month and replace my back tire every 6 weeks. I am Nomad! I have a mission that can't be neglected. Rain, snow, hail, I'm more dependable than the US Postal Service!!! I do know a bit about the Outlaws and gal let me tell you, although they may have been respectful and polite to a fault, they really weren't so ok with you riding. I'm just sayin' Anyway, you seem like you have it all together other than those hormone level fluctuations and sitting in the mans' position! Party on Garth! Peace and Love, Jim B

QuoteI cannot imagine a jump I would make with an AAD that I wouldn't make without one. Quote Do you jump with an aad? Peace, Jim B

"Technology has made calling for help instantaneous even in the most remote places. Because would-be adventurers can send GPS coordinates to rescuers with the touch of a button, some are exploring terrain they do not have the experience, knowledge or endurance to tackle." This is similar to aad techknowledgy. Skydivers with an aad are taking on risks they don't have the experience to takle. Peace, Jim B

You are right about that , champu. I believe almost all of the data from NOAA. Let me ask you about official reports on foreign policy. Do you believe these reports to be true? Peace, Jim B. -

Just curious how often people believe the government is truthful. Peace, Jim B. -
[replyNot surprised you would post this as you and Obama avoid all the taxes you can by taking all available deductions Hypocrisy in action Quote Wait a second here.., are you suggesting that there is something wrong with taking every deduction the law allows? Do you believe that one should pay more tax then the law requires? Why do you feel that way? Peace, Jim B.

QuoteYou and the wrong judge agree. See a pattern?Quote I do. I see that you have made up your mind and if a federal judge attempts to enlighten you you just disregard what he says, he is wrong ,end of story. Yes ,Wendy, I do see a pattern! I see a pattern of those entrenched in their ignorance refusing to open themselves to the Truth. Peace, Jim B.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. He's trolling you, Ron - pushing a button getting you personally offended so you will react. That's "jimbrown" 's modus operandi. If you were a soldier, he'd call you GI Joe and challenge your guts. If you were a librarian, he'd call you a bookish nerd. Et cetera, et cetera. He doesn't care about the issue. He just wants to tweak people, to get them to sputter something back. And then he'll just keep repeating the same thing over and over again, to see how many "replies" he can generate. Eventually, he'll either be ignored into irrelevance, or get himself banned, like others before him. You have it all figured out don't you ,Andy? You know so much !!! Someday I hope we will all be as smart as you! Peace, Jim B.

Thanks for the recommendation. I won't be needing to read that book written by a man as I have a direct line to God. Peace, Jim B.

[reply Simple fact is ,Kennedy, sure these feral judges are guaranteed a certain income. Thing is if they please the powers they can move up a knotch and have an even greater income. And that's how things work isn't it? Tow the line boy and we'll give you a promotion. I say fuck all that! By Jesus' decree I am God !! There can be no promotions and certainly no government shoud expect me to pay tribute to them. I am a Free Man. I am required to pay tribute to no man. God is my Father and I am his Son. He who is ALL OF THE AGES requires that I disregard the laws of man and abide strictly by His law, regardless of earthly or human consequence. God the Father has forbid me to pay income tax. "Render unto Ceaser what is Ceasers'" , He says. Knowing full well that nothing really belongs to Ceaser! All belongs to the Creator, the Divine Architect. Ceaser owns nothing so pay him what he is due. The Great Architect who designed this earth may be due some tribute. Live a good life and I'm certain he will call the books square. Peace, Jim Brown And now we've established what kind of crazy you are, and that you are incapable of reading the bible with any more accuracy than the tax code. Maybe if you're lucky you can share a cell with other tax evasion convicts and you can reinforce eachother's insanity. If I'm really lucky I'll be sharing a cell with you ,Kennedy !! Your picture is the fire that "Lights my Loins". Now then, can we get back to the issue at hand? Can any federal judge whithstand the test of Conflict of Interest when it comes to income tax cases? At least one federal judge says no. Why do you "feel" differently? Peace, Jim B.

I don't plan to argue this one to death (I hope), no pun intended, because I am at peace with this, am a veteran, and have seen war. However, this is interesting by Dr. John MacArthur which articulates the justification of war from a Christian perspective: http://www.gty.org/Resources/Sermons/80-241_A-Biblical-Perspective-on-War?q=justification+for+war I don't know. Maybe you would rather follow the teachings of John Mac Arthur instead of following the teachings of the Master Jesus, the Christ. Perhaps your participation in that wrong has you scrambling to justify your actions. Here is a simple fact, jaybird 18c, the Master taught that forgiveness comes from ones self. Forgive yourself! You participated in this atrocity that we call war! I'm sorry you found yourself in that situation. Forgive yourself and vow to yourself that you will sin no more. Peace be with you ,jaybird 18c Blue Skies, Jim B.

Ding. End of discussion. I think this discussion should continue. Andy, the judge in the Sullivan case candidly admitted that there was no evidence that the 16th amendment was properly ratified. Strike that , he stated that there was ample evidence that the 16th amendment was never properly ratified !!! He goes on to make the point that even if that amendment was never legaly added to the Constitution, no federal court would ever rule that the income tax provision is anything other than law! What say you? If the 16th amendment was not properly ratified , is it law? Peace, Jim B.
-
See here young man, (doesn't that opening give me an air of superiority and athourity? ) You say the judge was wrong. That may be true. Thing is he pretty much aknowledged the point I've been making. When it comes to income tax no federal judge is going to give a defendant a fair shake. That's a federal judge on the bench talking candidly. And still you believe that in tax matters the defendant can get a fair trial? Peace, Jim B.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. No, I do not love war. I believe war is a necessary condition of a fallen world. Some individuals, I am referring strictly to Americans here, have a military spirit and they voluntarily choose that way of life. Once inducted into military service they must serve where they are ordered. The entire military system is based on a philosophy of hierarchy of orders. The more rank you earn the less orders you have to follow and the more you get to issue. I support the military and its veterans. I have dedicated my life to their service. I hope that clarifies my position for you. As you hold yourself out as a follower of Master Jesus the Christ I don't see how you could consider war a "necessary condition". The Master loved all and woukd never have even a thought of lobbing a bomb over there !!! Please explain how any true Christian could believe that it is necessary to kill or maim his brother humans. I don't see Christ in war. "Necessary"? Why? Peace, Jim B.

Proof of "what " , Mr Quade? What is it that you are expecting me to show "proof" of? The one you're hiding behind in your hypothetical. "...That The 16th Amendment Was Never Properly Ratified..." It's just nonsense for you to even ask the question without YOU showing any proof to even make us consider it. Oh ! My bad!! I assumed everyone was familiar with Donald Sullivan vs The United States of America March 21 , 2003 United States District court for the easrtern district of North Carolina. Look that transcript up and then read the bottom of page 22 and pg 23. Will that do ya? Peace, Jim B
-
That's a pretty easy reply , Andy. It didn't require much thought. You didn't even have to look up the transcripts from the case I cited. Just make a reference to "koo-koo bird"! LOL!!! Thing is that this "koo-koo bird" is a Free Man and you're still payin' the IRS !! I bet you can't even quote the section of law which requires that you do that. As a matter of fact, I know you can't. I hope those chains of servitude rest lightly on your shoulders. Peace, Jim B.
-
Awesome. Then don't pay your income taxes and see what happens. You're right, you don't have to pay, but . . . then you might no longer be a "free man" either. See Mr. Quade, you are one who doesn't understand Freedom. In fact you obviously don't understand the cosmos. Lock me up? It can't be done! You may imprison the physical body but it is impossible to lock me up (or down). I will remain a Freeman and I will travel the universe at will. Peace, Jim B.
