  1. Is using dz com polls to express your own opinions a sign of happiness? Sorry, I forgot the disclaimer: All opinions either stated or inferred in an internet discussion or poll may be taken as tripe. Oh, and...which one did you vote for? women....

Do you think God knew what He was doing when He created woman? Huh? No shit. I really wanna know. Or do you think it was another one of His minor mistakes like tidal waves, earthquakes, FLOODS? You think women are like that? S'matter? You don't think God makes mistakes? Of course He does. We ALL make mistakes. Of course, when WE make mistakes they call it evil. When GOD makes mistakes, they call it... nature. So whaddya think? Women... a mistake... or DID HE DO IT TO US ON PURPOSE? Because if it's a mistake, then maybe we can do something about it...invent a vacinne, come up with a cure...build up our immune system. You know, 20 pushups a day and you'll NEVER have to deal with WOMEN...EVER...AGAIN! "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  5. Your character doesn't have to have gotten his Tandem Rating while being in the Army, he could have been a rated civilian instructor beforehand. That way your character's timeline and this jump with his girlfriend doesn't have to depend on what he's doing in the military. By the way, the only people who give a shit about how accurate a skydiving segment is are the few skydivers who don't realize that their friends think they're dorks for caring about how accurate a skydiving segment is. 6. I'm wondering which statement, during it's actual delivery was more knowingly full of shit, not only to the audience but to the person delivering the line. There are just times when regardless of what a person has been told they just have to think..."that's a crock of shit." First, there was the now famous "Mission Accomplished." Which was obvious slapstick. Next, and it was less obvious but regardless of whether we should or should not have gone into Iraq the pretense was bullshit, everyone knew it, and all of a sudden Oop! No WMD's!. This was only countered by our favorite Iraqi Information Minister who still contends that he was saying the gosh darn honest truth. Then there's our on again / off again search for Bin Laden. Oh...and Maury just said that it's not mine. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

This is the best thread on this website...for so many reasons. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  10. I voted no. The purple heart should remain as an award for a physical sacrifice. I say that for the pure purpose of keeping it simple. Those suffering from Post Tr. should be awarded the best medical therapy their country can offer. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  11. Do you mind if I tag onto your thread to look for someone? I'm finding it too difficult start my own thread and type: Google.com "Blackwater demo team" and then hit search Anyway, Johnny Utah, if you're here could you shoot me a PM? Hiking Boots

Have you considered trail shoes instead? It's quite a fallacy that boots are automatically required for camping and hiking. I've had the same pair of boots for 15 years now and only use them in the snow. I go through a pair of shoes every two years. Here's a good article on the subject: http://friends.backcountry.net/m_factor/footwear.html If you're worried about brush scraping or bug/snake bite then you should be wearing gaiters anyway. 17. The dealership will do it for 4k but I found a good engine for 1k and would be ok with a back-yard job. I'd make a project of it if it were an old CJ but all the electronic shit on new cars make me nervous. I'm fortunate enough to have another car I can use for now so I'm not in a rush. Be creative.

...shave its ass and teach it to walk around backwards. Oh, I'm sorry, you said creative: ...I'd say your daddy has some explaining to do but would understand why you're such a son-of-a-bitch. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  19. So I just got a bunch of stuff fixed on the Ride to make sure I can get it over the 200k mark and all of a sudden my engine goes kaput. So it's either a new engine or a new car. Everything else about the car is in good working order. Anyone ever dropped a new engine in a Grand Cherokee? I'm interested in hearing if you got your money's worth. 20. Yes. Quickly indeed. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=70459; "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  21. It seems like a pretty fair statement that people care more about the environment than they do about sending teenagers to die in distant lands. I'm sure Al Gore on a crucifix was a close runner-up but it dilutes the meaning to put one face on it. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  22. You do realize the definition of evidence right; facts relevant to the outcome of a case? So it makes sense to not allow new facts that are relevant to a case? "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  23. Talk about a PR backfire. Seriously, let the guy finish out behind the lines. Don't yank his benefits because the brass made a call on it. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
  24. White people love Juno: http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.wordpress.com/2008/02/06/57-juno/ "Juno, starring Halifax’s Ellen Page, is a critically acclaimed comedy about a wise cracking teenager, dealing with an unexpected pregnancy. As 2007’s Indie hit, it is alternative mainstream and white people love it when low budget movies do well, even though the $7 million budget is enough to feed thousands of villages in East Africa for a year. White people, especially ones over 30, also love movies that take them back to a time when there was zero hip hop influence in white high schools. So although the character of Juno and her high school are very unrealistic, older people identify with her and wish that their unappreciative children would be more like her. On another note, the film takes place in a fictional suburban town in Minnesota, but imagine the same storyline in say West Baltimore or Socorro, TX. My guess is that there would be less qurkiness, less acoustic guitar and zero references to Dario Argento. Teen pregnancy is not as big a problem in the suburban midwest as it is in urban centers or border towns, therefore it is acceptable to not only green light a movie shedding light on teen pregnancy but it is okay to laugh at the situation and add a killer indie soundtrack. It also doesn’t hurt that the screenplay was written by somebody named “Diablo” and that Jason Bateman and Michael Cera are in the movie as well. p.s I’m not a robot, I cried when Vanessa got her baby" "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
