  1. Hi there, I am currently considering the Diploma at the NZ Skydiving school and it has been very useful to read various opinions from the numerous posts on the subject. A lot of the posts are quite old and this particular thread appears to be the most recent. I know a lot of information has been written already and I was just hoping for an update on what other people's experiences have been - particularly from those who have recently completed the course or are on it now. Part of the reason I am interested in the course route is because I understand I will be able to apply for my NZ residency providing I am successful in completing the course coupled with at least two years experience (which, I understand, includes the course time). My understanding from the school is that I would complete the course on a student visa (I am from the UK), upon completion of the course I can apply for a bridging visa (valid for one year) to give me time to secure a job in the industry and then I can apply for a two year working visa. I understand I can then apply for my residency after two years work experience in the field (which includes the course time). Any advice or comments on the course, the school, and applying for residency in NZ would be most appreciated. Many thanks!
