    So today I turned in my two weeks notice at the place that I have worked for almost two years. The reason I did this was because I had a job opportunity come up that I could not pass up. The hard thing is that I have made so many good friends here. Even my supervisor is a great friend. It was so hard to turn in my notice! I was shaking! But, she took it great and now it is done! Now all I have to worry about is how smoothly the new job will go! Ugh, for someone that jumps out of planes regularly this has got me sooooo nervous!     Congrats again Bob! That was not supposed to be a triple pie-ing! Dan got me really not expecting it! That was fun though, and I'm so glad that I didn't miss your pie!     I missed it, but my Mom called me on my way to work this morning to tell me all about it. She loved it! It was fun hearing the pride in her voice as she mentioned stuff like hop and pops and canopy size, things that she is familiar with from my jumping.     Last year for my office Christmas party I had the girl do my hair all in curls. I got the idea from a picture I found on the internet of Christina Agulaira. Sorry about the quality of this picture, but I thought it might give you an idea. She just used a curling iron and put ringlets all over my head. Then she sprayed it with glitter.     OK, I know that you have already made your decision, but I had to put a good word in for my dz... Emerald Coast Skydiving Center in beautiful Elberta AL, right outside of Pensacola, FL. We either have a Porter or Caravan depending on the week, no weekday jumping but we have enough fun on the weekends to make up for that! Awesome beach jumps and the best people around! We even have a couple of freeflyers! We have a clubhouse that they let people stay in and we even have a shower that you can use. See this is where you need to be!     Hey Girl! From what I have heard most everyone did ok through this storm. It hit on the east side of Pensacola which put most of us on the good side of the storm. Emerald Coast was well on the west side of it. I only know of Dan getting any damage to his house. I think that the rest of us made out fine! Thanks for the concern!     Just an update: We got back into town last night and came home to an apartment that was totally untouched! We even have power and cable and water! Yay! While where the storm went aground did receive damage it was not nearly as bad as Ivan. We are very thankful! Now if we can just make it through the rest of the season! Stay away, Emily!     What a good evacuation plan! That rocks! I have a friend that may be heading towards Deland. I am going with my family to Atlanta. Leaving tomorrow morning. I am also hoping for not too much traffic! We'll see! Ivan destroyed my old apartment, so it is kind of hard leaving this time, who knows what we will be coming back to! Good Luck to you!     Thanks! What stinks is that we just (as of last week) got settled back in after Ivan! We will most definitely be taking all of our pictures with us and anything that can not be easily replaced! The good news is that this time we have renters insurance! Of course it is still a ways off and could turn quite a bit.     Ok, those of us that live in or around the Pensacola area, what have we done? Now Dennis is projected to hit us on Monday! It will be interesting to see how much confusion this storm makes! After Ivan everybody is a little panicky at the thought. You should have seen the way this town reacted to tropical storm Arlene! Now a real storm is headed our way? This should be fun! As for my sister and I, we will definitely evacuate. Seeing our apartment after Ivan convinced us to leave for anything over a category 1. Hurricane season in Florida, Woo Hoo!     I was on a five way rw jump once where, without me knowing, the whole plan of the dive was to fruit loop me and then I got rodeoed! It was funny because I was trying to jump the plan they had shown me. It was really funny because the whole plane knew their plan except me. I kept wondering why everyone was laughing.
