Half-Cocked is fun though... Interesting that the original link to the Aviation Mag article has a tiny clicky link on the bottom to canopypiloting dot com. Click on that link and see November first article "Wet parachute blamed in death" ,on CP dot com, which is a copy of a separate article. The aviation magazine appears to be using as a source. Cheney could be impeached for directing Libby to leak classified national security information. Which would make The Speaker of the House as the next president. Most recent manual I have for Strong is "May 2002 Revision E" Page 20: Pro Packing Procedures for Packing the SET 400/ SET360 Flat packing procedures are on page 31. To the OP: I like to flat pack new SETs until they are broken in and then I'll Pro-pack them. Never noticed any association with malfunctions and packing technique but I have noticed an association between the person packing and malfunctions/ hard openings. Packing tabs are an aid to flat packing. Their presence or absence is no indication of the "proper" packing method. Any parachute can be flat packed. Sometimes I flat pack my sport mains for a change of pace.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. You're assembling one fact from Tom (65 BASE jumps) with misinformation from another post/ thread. The "mentor" comment did not come from the Iowa group. Check your facts. I know the parties involved. The deceased is a friend whom I had the privilege to make skydives with over the years. Open "my pictures" Right click on photo>> Open with>> Microsoft Office Picture Manager The cropping and resizing tools are in the Picture menu on the tool bar. They are easier to use than reading the help manual provided in Photoshop. "Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken

On this side of the pond they put that kind of stuff on daytime talk shows. Walt US MTV has expanded the "teen dating" reality shows from the strictly straight orientation to embrace all sexual orientations.
