  1. I agree! Here in the DC metro area, we are only expecting a few inches, but……. That's enough to shut down the whole freaking area. All the way from PA to VA and everything in between. My daughter flew in this evening from Seattle (via a couple of detours in the Upper Midwest), and it was doubtful that she would make it. She made it, but her luggage is somewhere, but no one knows where. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  10. Well, the consensus is: the '70s. I agree, although the early '80s were darn near as good. Before the sport changed from a "club based" pseudo barnstorming mentality to a big business one. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  11. I don't know if any of you are into historical fiction, but I enjoyed Empire Rising. These men have my utmost respect. I could never do that. Nowadays, no one would be allowed to. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

    Marmite

I like Marmite under melted cheese on toast, so I'd probably be ok with a Vegemite pizza crust - which, by the way, is not the weirdest of Pizza Hut's recent inventions. Cheese, meat, tomato sauce and chocolate? Ewwwwwh! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  13. Sorry - I was on the piercing comment. circumcision has at least arguments (true or not in today's world) that would be used as a medical procedure. That's the thread here I guess piercing, body ornamentation - not at all medical I'm wondering if we are pointing out the same thing but from different directions. I've seen women arguing vigorously against circumcision while holding their toddler daughter who has holes punched in their ears. I find it very at odds to say the least. Take those earrings out and the holes will grow over. It's kind of hard to grow your foreskin back. Of course, in my fascist regime, children would be removed from their parents at birth and raised in clean state-run facilities where they would be uniformly educated, vaccinated and indoctrinated into the mandatory state religion, which involves Smurfs. This is entirely because someone cut a piece of my dick off without so much as a by-your-leave when I was an infant. Hmmm, creche babies. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  14. OK, I gotta ask. What's up with the missing 'w'? Your last ~ 10 posts seem to have it missing rather often; but not 100%. Jerry Baumchen Thats because he's married and he lost sensitivity in his ring finger. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  16. I've had good luck with peanut butter and Velveeta, too. The latter may not be info you can use, though, but if you can find it, it is soft enough to squish into place and is hard to steal. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  17. 10 I've been caffeine-free for over 15 years. I don't miss coffee, but I do miss iced tea in restaurants. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
