  1. Technically, you're both true (given real life gravity on this here world of rotated pics). lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  2. I generally try to mind my own business, but if I out someone's dirty laundry ( inadvertently or not), the onus is not on me to keep their secret, it's the cheating bastard (or bitch)'s fault for their crappy behavior. Unless you gave some your word that you would keep silent (only you can judge if you can do this), you are under no obligation to protect the cheater. You probably did your co-worker a favor by showing her this. I know I would want to know, if I was her. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  3. The author seriously asks this, but later in the article he answers it with exactly why dash-cams and helmet-cams are used more and more everyday. "Before cameras came along, such incidents depended on reliable eyewitnesses. And such eyewitnesses didn't always want to testify in court. The simple fact that Munoz was wearing a camera means he had ready-made evidence to present to the police." I wonder if he realized that he answered his own question and now knows why? lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  4. Sounds like a case of “Raaaaiiii… Niiiieeeerrrr… Beeaaarrrr…”. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  5. If he didn't understand there was a risk of losing life OR limb, he wasn't smart enough to be doing this activity. Too late to be blaming others, IMO. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  6. Long before go-pros, and other devices that recorded our every action, Mrowc6 and I were riding West on Old Woman Springs Road (ironic, ain't it?) toward Victorville on his Yamaha 650, and two F-4s buzzed the crap out of us from behind , and then came around and buzzed us when we could see them coming. We could feel them going past us both times! It was pretty darned amazing! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  7. I did want to kind of shoot myself because of the music. If it becomes a permanent condition, just tie a fuse to me too. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  8. I had a clown in a BMW try to road rage me in Portland. He was riding my ass in heavy traffic all the way down HWY 26 from Beaverton and followed me off the freeway to the light on my way to Portland State. We were stopped there at the light and he got out of his little car and he started banging on the window of my Mercedes..... I stepped out... the needledick was about 5'4".... I was towering over him... he ran back to his little BMW and locked his little door I was a very bad girl and I wrote FUCK YOU with a chapstick on his windshield. Did you write it backward so he could read it? Heh heh heh Yup lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  9. Frankly, the motorcyclist's restraint is admirable!
  10. I don't know Guy, would YOU want to personally piss off Kim? I know I would like to drive up and down her street and past her house repeatedly (in first gear). My car is very loud, and I can do 60 in first gear. But like a normal person, I would get bored and move on. All the evidence is that she is not normal. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  11. I think it depends on where you live. Here in southern MD, many people have veggie stands that are an honor stand. They put out produce with prices and leave a jar that magically fills up with money that is still there at the end of the day. When we lived in El Paso it was a different story. If you put something remotely useful out on the curb for the trash collection, you could see the lurkers out of corner of your eyes waiting for you to turn to walk back in the house so they could snatch it off the curb. If you had a yard sale, you had to keep a keen eye out for pilfering or worse. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  12. I love it; a multi language pun! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  13. Yep, I'd take that drive over the S.E. any day!
  14. I'm glad you were able to finally swing the trip. It sounds like you had a great time! I was lucky enough to drive out from the east coast recently (7,000 + miles). Me on the way from Red River to Angel Fire: lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  15. Poll Fail! There's no chili-cheese option. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  16. I don't know whether to be amused or appalled. Is that a case of raising yet another generation who thinks that nothing bad they do will stick? Or is that just the cutest thing ever? lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  19. Watchyoutalkingabout? It's not even 50 pages, yet. Give it a few more pages and a few more decades. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  20. Maybe, I really am getting old. I understood the reference. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  21. Thank you Nataly.
  22. Ok. Have no idea what what you are all complaining about. I drove west on I 70 yesterday, and there was no problem beyond the usual left lane idjits . Oh, wait . This was coming out of Charm City. Nevermind . lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  23. That's been known for years; not a secret at all. Here's the reasoning behind it I've read: The cost savings of carrying an infant on your lap will encourage you to fly. The extra expense of paying a full ticket for a small infant would encourage many young parents to change to an auto trip, which is much more likely to be involved in a fatal crash. So, basically, it's safer to fly with an unstrapped infant than to drive with one in a car seat. Ahh, the amazing things bean counters come up with. Hhmmm. Gotta love stats. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  24. Completely agreeing with you. See my second sentence. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
