  1. Your costume, and then Pipers' . . . This place also needs a "thumbs up" smiley. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  2. Ok, but if you keep collecting them (and stay single) you are going to be known at that "dog lady". lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  3. Cool, I guess, but what do bagpipers have to do with this? lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  4. Probably not. My long-distance bike rides are most likely in the past. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  5. Yes, this is what I was trying, but not very articulately to say. That it would be viewed and used as a crutch, and used more often than absolutely necessary, instead of proper procedures, especially for those who have substandard training, or personalities which "pull silver" at the first hint of problems. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  6. Sorry, couldn't resist lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  7. And, doesn't unemployment run out in a very short time? Never used it, so not really sure of the time reference, but pretty sure not years and years. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  8. That swan had to be nearly dead before she encountered it. I was thinking the same thing. Otherwise, it would have beat the shit out of her. Swans on land aren't quite as aggressive as geese (or nimble), but enough to do some damage when healthy. I also had to look twice to see where this happened, because it was a mute swan, which should be eradicated in the new world. (flame on). If this had been here, I would have been cheering her on (minus the cruelty, which is never justified). The Chesapeake is one of the many areas where the mute swan is decimating the ecosystem. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  9. I think the idea of a parachute last resort for a plane is great (and I'm not a pilot), but I wonder how often it is prematurely, used, much like a crutch? That said, holy crap, that landing looked spine-crunching! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  10. http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/police-ambulances-rush-to-scene-of-shooting-in-sydneys-south-20160307-gnc6zf.html I thought you knew how to do this by now. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

    My rig !!

Who you kiddin'? Everyones' ass looks fat when waddling around in your gear. It's like saying your skin doesn't look floppy in FF. It's a nice sentiment, but…….. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  14. Maybe, because when you get that old and you have that much experience, you just don't photograph well anymore? I actually like the graveyard locale. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

  17. Not true; mint and bacon is pukeworthy, so therefore, bacon-candy cane ice-cream is disgusting. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  18. What I found interesting was that the mom thought even a week was too long (inference is that a few or several days is ok). Yeah, I know, it's probably translation gone wild, but still funny. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
  19. In this same vein, Mr.owc6, whom many here know, plays the bagpipes, and is always getting asked variations of the "the question." Q. What do you wear under your kilt? A. Nothing. Q. What is worn under your kilt? A. Nothing, it's all in good working order. Q. What's under your kilt? A. Shoes and socks. Q. What's under there? A. An airfield. Two hangers and a nightfighter. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9
