You're right 377, I did forget one thing http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3804944;search_string=nexus%20of%20incivility;guest=75293567#3804944 Low Pull!

"PLEASE tone it down! Your snipes and critical tones are unnessary to make a point. Your talk about Meth is uncalled for. Your being critical about the posters and the forum it's self are uncalled for. If you consider this thread and posters "black" water then you need to go else where. " Fair enough Jo. It was good chatting with you folks, and thanks for letting me stop by. Good luck!

sigh. You're wrong. Blevins said I had personal issues. Is that an attack? Don't you read the thread, in between your photo op jumps? And where am I attacking him? I'm just saying he's a liar. He's used the word "lie" and "liar" a lot when he has evidence that disproves someone's statements. So I'm speaking in the language used by the natives. I have made no personal attacks. I am accurate when I say "Blevins has his magnifying glass on KC. I have mine on Blevins". Are you saying KC is a fair target, but not Blevins? I don't get your point? clarify. Georger rightly brought up a valid question of why the gay guy gets blamed (KC). I will point out you're the first to bring in the wimp term. I think the idea of wimp or non-wimp is endemic to skydiving. Am I wrong?

I can't imagine why people remember an Airstream (aptly named), and a weekend in 1971. In any case, where did Mike Watson say he went with the Airstream? And if he was in conflict with another's memory, why is he wrong and another right. I remember one guy that had an Airstream: he hauled it out and had the most success with women. A comfortable bed counts for a lot. Appropriate gear selection can make up for a lot of other deficiencies.

377 ranted "What is it about the Internet that turns most forums into Clockwork Orange or Lord of the Flies reenactments" You anti-Clockwork Orange ranters are all the same. So you don't like Clockwork Orange? What are you proposing? The Blevins' version of "I'm polite, therefore it means something?" Oh that reminds me. Sluggo will like this: I read an article in Outside magazine at the airport. Guy was talking about what it takes to be a good storyteller. He said "well if you're not from the South, you got to realize you're starting from a disadvantage...You've got to forget about any notion of the truth" ...it was funny
-
Hmm.. But you have more jump experience than KC. Maybe it's a whuffo thing..kind of a tell. same thing with toilet paper rolls..do you set them up to unroll from the inside or the outside. The inside pull is documented by Poynter as more stable. P.S. After your posting about the fake picture, I moved the rig I bought off ebay under my desk. Thanks for the warning.

377 offered "So if the suspect cult stayed chunky with good teeth you are probably barking up the wrong tree Nexus. " I have photos of some of them from Blevins book and news articles. This is a good angle. I'll try to look at their teeth. Evidence! I wonder if they're not smiling, they're trying to hide their teeth? Oh: another thing that bothers me: this notion of "hidden KC picture" behind another picture. Surely everyone does the same thing as me: When you get a new picture, you slide it over the existing one in a frame, because you don't have another frame. I find it ridiculous that Blevins keeps repeating this "hidden picture" idea, just because the picture was behind another in a frame. That's just dumb. (edit) Also: in terms of stirring up the DBC pot, if it comes out the money was used to start a meth cult, won't that stir the pot more?
-
377 said "Speak for urself Nexus. We are miles above the "backwater forum" genre." I apologize. I didn't realize that a skygod posted here. Didn't I see you reviewing some canopy flight book recently? What are you doing here in this slum? The guys at the DZ probably can't believe it... Did Blevins consult you on KC's canopy flight? Are you going to be on the History Channel? I read in a paper that you recreated KC's 1971 radio comms. How much money did you make?
-
I am but a lowly internet forum poster, on a backwater thread, on a backwater forum. Yet, I made you backpedal on your claims of jump experience for KC. I guess, your point is, that was an exception, not the rule. I listened to Jon Stewart and thought "magnifying glass, burning ants? Sounds like fun" We all have our own magnifying glasses. You burn your ants. I'll burn mine. The problem is, you're mine! And KC's yours! yee-hah! addendum: Bigfoot another addendum: If it's discovered that the Christiansens are running a meth cult, I claim all rights to the story and will take legal action against any IP theft. It's a theory based on analysis of the Christiansen family money flow. ($1M untraceable estate from Kenny moves to ??)
-
Ah, Orange1. Then maybe I am the one that should apologize. On another note, Is it possible to get a copy of the contract Blevins has with the history channel? There must be money involved...otherwise how could they sue him for $500k for breach of contract? If there was no money involved, why the heck does Blevins care what the History Channel thinks? I apologize to Mr. Blevins. He is not a liar, unlike the other people up in the north woods.
-
Yeah I knew what you meant. I agree with you. I also agree that it's sad that Kenny's friends would allow this happen. Blevins and Lyle feeling it's more important to jump the gun on a story without facts, than be true to a guy's life. That's why when I go, I'm taking everyone with me. Can't trust the bastards.
-
So you're thinking that Blevins is saying KC only did one crime in his life, hijacking a 727 for $200,000 with a bomb, and then he was done? I can't really tell what Blevins is saying. I'm still picturing people jumping around naked in the twenties and carrying bags of it to friends, but only as a loan...i.e. you are expected to pay back that $5000 in twenties, otherwise, we'll have to go to court to settle things. If a friend of mine hijacked a jet and loaned me $5000 of the proceeds, and then asked for it back, I'd laugh in his face, and ask for $10,000 more or he's going to jail!

Jo the sanity policewoman asked "Please keep the conversations sane and within a realm of reality. This is just a personal request because the crazy talk gets everyone out of sorts." I guess you're right. I mean it's just $1M we're talking about. Who's going to commit a crime to grab that? Ridiculous crazy talk. And KC died in '94? So the money is long gone? (but the paperwork lived on, apparently?) (edit) Hey I was just thinking. If KC died in '94 how old was he: was he like just 68 years old? How did he die? That seems young? Sorry. And there's no way KC was involved in methamphetamine distribution or manufacture. It's not possible. Nor the family. Blevins would have told us.
-
Why can't Blevins just scan in a copy of the estate documents he's talking about with the numbers? I'm thinking there must be a typo or something. Or maybe there's a second layer of scam going on here. Maybe Kenny left a will, but the Christiansen family tore it up because KC left the moolah to someone else? And they grabbed the cash? Whatever the amount is, someone's got it... I mean, basically Blevins is writing a brag book: Christiansen got the cash, and kept it all and transferred it to the family. Or someone. Maybe the family didn't get it? Heck, what about Watson? How come he didn't ask for more? Maybe he wants more now, once he finds out there's $1M in play. Who's the guy that broke in someplace once. Maybe there's a future robbery that's going to happen? Murder..whatever. The usual stuff.

sluggo's note about someone on the plane, and Jo's note about the estate value, gave me an idea to make some money here. (plus that Florida lawyer can make a buck) We file a civil suit on behalf of one of the passengers of Flight 305 ..emotional distress from the bomb, etc...(we dig up someone still alive, and promise him a cut)...then we sue all the surviving members of the Christiansen meth cult/family for both the value of the estate, and whatever compound they live in . Burden of proof for civil is less, so we got a good shot. We put Blevins on the stand to prove Christiansen was the hijacker, plus the other witnesses (they can get a cut if they need it) I didn't realize we're talking about $1M. Once there's real money, all sorts of things can happen. I was wondering about the loans Christiansen made. Apparently they were delivered in bags of twenty dollar bills? Were the coins and stamps purchased with cash in the mail (twenties) also? And the house was with bags of twenties? I'm just wondering if there's a laundering story for the money before the other people in the plot got their share or what. Need to straighten this all out before we file. when's the 2nd book. Need it now.

Jo said "Blevin never met nor did he know Christiansen. ALL he has is hearsay. I definitely think that Christiansen's financial status is inflated way over. if I were Blevin - I would be asking for court record regarding the dispersment value of the assets" Who got the money? If this money is from the hijack, isn't it recoverable? I would think his relatives wouldn't want to be known as spending proceeds from a crime. Like: what would your kid think, if you sent him to college on hijack money? Is the whole Christiansen family dirty? Did they turn it over into meth labs? Is Blevins part of a meth lab network? re: Estate Taxes Good point Jo. You're thinking! So they must have sold the coin collection. No one would hold onto to it, and pay the estate tax out of their pocket (who would have that kind of cash around..unless they were into meth labs maybe) Maybe this is a big money laundering project? I wonder how far the History Channel investigation will go.

georger theorized: "I think more than Lyle's nickle ($495..) he also dropped an idea on everyone .... the idea of a movie." I think there might be two sisters besides Lyle. Maybe Blevins can confirm. If so, why didn't he publish anything from the sisters? Maybe they got money from the hijacking? Wonder why Blevins didn't do a financial investigation into them? Maybe it will come out on the History Channel. Or maybe there are no sisters. The names I'm seeing are Amy and Donna. Mr Blevins? confirm or ??

was browsing the web, and found some advice at http://intotheblast.blogspot.com When you are doing an investigation, some people will be forthright and honest. Others will be evasive, and perhaps engage in lying. If you come prepared, then it is easier to separate the wheat from the chaff and determine what is truth and what is a lie. attached photo of 1966 Opel Diplomat Matchbox car. I don't know why there are so many of these on ebay http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=opel-diplomat

My take is that everyone's reaction is the same as mine: That any theory is fine. But that it was bizarre how Blevins tried to ram it down everyone's throat. Remember how he bragged about the secret to his success being going out and interviewing people, while everyone else couldn't see the forest for the trees? Beyond the theory, he actively campaigned that everyone else was stupid. Yet clearly, he had never looked in the mirror, or didn't care. For me, the amazing thing was when that lawyer from Florida posted (he only posted once) and he said he thought KC was a reasonable suspect. Or that someone bothered to email support to Blevins. Any sense of WTF? on my part, as as much to do with incredulity that anyone (including the History Channel) would listen to Blevins. Or that PIs in NYC are licensed, that shovel BS like this. If I was a lawyer in NYC, defending my client who was banging secretaries and his wife hired Skipp who got "evidence" and was trying to take me to the cleaners in a divorce, I'd want to use this situation to show how both Blevins and Porteus are con artists (and not the first in the Cooper saga) quick rehash of the guys in 1972. $30K was in play. They were convicted. http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=5jkQAAAAIBAJ&sjid=VI8DAAAAIBAJ&pg=6828,4391865&dq=db-cooper&hl=en http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=5zkQAAAAIBAJ&sjid=VI8DAAAAIBAJ&pg=6961,4487869&hl=en I keep wondering what Blevins' angle is. There can't be much money in play. So WTF?

If Cooper was a 1943 era paratrooper, who had only done the minimal set of qualifying static line jumps, and then decided to freefall out of a 727 in 1971 with modern gear, with no prior experience, with a rig that had a modified outboard right hand pull, it's interesting that when offered instruction on how to use it, he apparently rebuffed the offer. Now this may all be "not true". But: if KC planned this, and was calm, cool and collected because of his paratrooper experience (which still appears to be just the minimal set of training jumps)....well, KC was pretty Cool Hand Luke, and my hat is off to him.

Hi Jo, you include a lot of things in your posts, which make them interesting to say the least... buried in one above, you said: Like the lower part of the book with the picture that was buried in the same location the money was buried in....I believe that book and picture are very significant finds. Where was this book buried? I don't think you've said the book was buried before? What do you mean by "same location"...If it was buried, how did you get it? and when? Or are you talking about some other book?

Mr Blevins said: "I have said all along that the Christiansen/Cooper theory is just that - A THEORY. Please do not put words into my mouth. " Mr Blevins: You seem totally unaware (or maybe just don't care?) of how the sum total of your posts presents itself to a reader. In no way were you presenting a theory. You were shoveling crap down people's throats, regardless of feedback or questions. I still wonder about how you judge liars. You were free to call other people liars. Like here: Katy Watson was also caught in a BIG lie by yours truly when she tried to say that Kenny bought this lot and made his money selling off the trees BEFORE the hijacking. Porteous and I put the lie to this by checking the sales record with the timber company. " from http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3972220;search_string=lie;#3972220 Now if this is all true, and Katy was wrong about something...why is she a liar, yet when I find you saying untrue things, you're not a liar? I mean, what standard do you use? Why can you be "wrong" but others "lie" ?? I can dig up everything you've said and go thru each again, but why not just admit you present opinion as fact? In short, you lie. If money was involved, it would be fraud? (remember those guys who got convicted selling a false story claiming an interview with Cooper) Now: if you called me a liar, you'd be right!

" One of the 3 times this was done was when one of our own joined me for a day of search and we had dinner at the Red Lion in Vancouver. In fact he bought my dinner that night after spending 2 hours to drive to Vancouver and several hours driving me around in his vehicle. " I'll guess that was SafecrackingPLF. Whoever it was, it was very nice of them. Or: Maybe it was Bruce? (edit) I just noticed you updated your post. I'm not a God person, but I'm a big fan of whatever works for different people. Obviously, there's something good happening for you...so yeah, go ahead and share your good feeling.

Who cares about your next book here? I mean I'm sure you're a good writer, but why pump it up here? And I don't buy this "Oh I'm sorry" stuff. Isn't that what women always use on men? You wrote a book and are going on the History Channel saying you know who Cooper is. And that you did it thru some great investigative work. It's perfectly fine to lie. But don't use the "I'm sorry" crap? Just say you were lying. That's much better. I mean, I appreciate that you spun your way onto the History Channel. Hopefully you got some bucks.

Hi Jo Hey I'll bite. (I bite whenever Blevins chums too :) ) You sound all pumped up. That's a good sign your road trip was fun and worth the money. You ended with something enigmatic..you said "Now the FBI can tell you the rest of the story - they have 30 days to get it right...they have 30 days and it cost me 14 yrs of my life" What's the 30 day mention? Is the FBI going to do something in 30 days or are you or ??
