Is Asking Your SO For Sex A Turn Off, Or A Turn On?
base689 replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
> The only thing that is a turn off is asking... and being denied ———————————————————————————— I back this up But... in general - it's all a turn on ———————————————————————————— I back this up too -
> What sort of sad lonely fucker has to sit next to a bikini model and get there pc taken..... I ABSOLUTELY agree with that

> Guess it wouldn't be a problem getting him to pose in a swimming suit then ————————————————————————————— In fact, I took a couple of self pictures in swimming suit (got few problem with my memory card reader, had to take it with my mobile, difficult manouver) and finally I have them in my PC. Send me your e-mail that I'll share them with you

> all javelins come standard with f-111 pilot chutes only ———————————————————————————— My Javelin (1999) came with a 32" F-111 collapsible PC (hackey sack as handle); and strange thing is that it came with F-111 "disk" that actually was two half-circles sewn together on a diameter ; after one year or so I got it replaced by a 28" ZP collapsible PC (and with a platsic tube as handle). > There's a nice bikini shot on another thread of a real hottie though if you're interested in the schawing factor —————————————————————————————— Well, the WHOLE Internet is full of pictures of girls/ladies/women, in bikini and naked, but I am not interested in seeing ANY bikini picture of ANY girl/lady/woman, I think you are a nice lady, you belong to the skydiving community and I would have liked to see YOUR bikini picture
-
> ...I've seen said Bikini pic, and let me tell you SCHAWING ———————————————————————————— Why don't you let Sartre letting me say SCHAWING myself watching her bikini picture by MYSELF ? Do you think I could say anything bad on Sartre for that?!?!?!?!? Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com

> Guess I won't post the bikini pics then ———————————————————————————— Let us judge how your bikini picture is like Post it here Serioudly, though, I hope you are going to improve your landing skills otherwise you are not going to enjoy skydiving that much I wish you heal soon from those nasty bruises

> but I don't care - I think it's gorgeous. And sexy ————————————————————————————— Well, first of all, Brie, thanks so much for sharing
-
> I apologize for sharing... ———————————————————————————— No, don't, please. I completely back up what swedishcelt said: "Yes, don't let people make you feel bad" There is NO point for people who don't like tattoos in general and your tattoos in particular to enter here and say negative things, it's NOT mandatory to say something negative Heather, I think you are a nice lady and I like your tattoos

> ...but the itw is a pretty fragile spot for such an attempt... ———————————————————————————— Yes indeed. Please, do not forget that, even local autorities know us (=IBA) personally and know that we conduct our sport from ITW, they TOLERATE US and our activities. If a heli rescue happens once in a while because of "normal" activities, that's what heli rescue is there for. If a heli rescue happens in a higly advertised event, event that has been promoted and arranged for breaking a record, there is NO need that I tell you what local autorities arte going to think and what local authorities are going to do Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com

> $3,000+ for jumping a legal cliff.... mmmm, bet there is no trouble there breaking even with organisational fees ———————————————————————————— Uhhmmm, I do not really know if advertising such a fee is legal for an event taking place in Italy, where Italian Law apply... I am wondering what is going to happen when my mates and I will meet with them at exit point for jumping (we would NOT partecipate to the record, nonetheless we would be jumping on our own), is he going to ask us money for jumping OUR wall the same day of their "attempt" of record? Really strange... > Any of that going to the heli rescue people? ———————————————————————————— The heli rescue is arranged and run by local authorities. I do NOT think it is possible to get another heli rescue to be there coming from "outside". To have a heli flying above 1000 m asl there must be SPECIAL permit. Uhhmmm, doesn't sound so good this stuff... Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com

Hello there!!!!! Am I reading wrong or right: > Base Boogie >April 2 through 7, 2007 >Arco, Italy > Goal: to boogie in a good place, in a good company. Planning to set a national big way record, possible a world record if more than 29 experienced people are present. > Organizers: > Valery Rozov - project director > Alex Rubinshtein - instructor > Stas Umnov - instructor > Igor Anisenko - LZ > Victor Ilyin - secretary > Boogie plan: jumping from an overhanging 1150m cliff, tracking and wingsuits. April 2..6: training jumps. 7..8: record jumps. Am I reading right that a group of Russian BASE jumpers is organizing a boogie aiming to a 30 way record at OUR site?!?!?!? Did they ever talk to us? Did they ever talk to us about political situation with local authorities? We (=IBA (=Italian BASE Association)) are coping quite well with local authorities, for example, WE got an official permit to install the sensor part of the meteo station in the landing area; such a permit has been granted to IBA!!!!! But the "balance" is jolly delicate. If something would go wrong in such a boogie (and I am talking only about heli rescue...), they could send all of us to gently f u c k off. Now, to manage a boogie aiming to a 30 way record is looking for trouble. I am going to talk to #726 and the other folks about that "boogie", but I guess what their answer will be. Stay tuned. base-canopy to fit into skydiving container (to skydive it)
base689 replied to mostwanted's topic in Archive
> what skydiving canopies does the J4 fit? —————————————————————————————— My "old" Javelin J4 (DOM 1999 (I understand that present Javelin's have different sizing models)) was made for (according to manufacturer instructions/charts) a ZP 190 or for a ZP 210 (tight). I normally "keep" a ZP Sabre 190 in my Javelin J4. Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com -

I will tell you MY experience. My Fox 245 Vtech stays (even if jolly tight) into my Javelin J4 (and succeeded to stick a Flik 266 VTech (VERY tight) into it too ). Of course, Fox 245 (and even Flik 266) stays within Javelin J4 with a BASE free packing. Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com -

Hi Jason, how ya going? I read all the story about Ms. Joyjoy, and I am moreover very sorry about Brian loss, it saddened all of us. Talking about you (if I can dare) and about your management of BD: I am with you and IMHO I think you are doing a great job. I can understand that if something goes wrong, they put the blame on you, and if you refuse the right to jump to somebody (for your right reasons and according to what you feel is the right thing to do), you have a hard time. Life is not perfect. BASE is WAY less perfect. I think you do a GREAT job indeed running BD every year the way you do. I wish one day to partecipate to BD myself, not just for the jump/objcet itself but for all the "surroundings" (the people, the "before" BD, the "after" BD...). Accept my best wishes to yourself, your wife and your baby. Take care

Yes, I do. Sometimes I go there and read threads/posta. Only twice I posted something but my disclaimer (I apologize in advance if I post here, I do NOT want to offend anyone.... and stuff like this) was actually longer than the post itself Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com

> My mom is trying to change her resume she scanned into a word document. I'm over here and not figuring it out so I thought maybe someone would know... > Other then using a high priced OCR you'll probably have to start over Well, I would say the following. If you buy a good brand scanner (Epson - Canon) for something about 100$, such a scanner DOES COME with a OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software. An OCR software is a software that you submit to it a JPEG and same software produces a word document with the best recognized characters. With 100$ you do the deal. > Bayliss one ride one win is 2006 —————————————————————————————— Troy has been unbelievable in Valencia. One single race, he jumps on a Ducati as a bonus from the team, and he is the fastest, even faster than Loris Capirossi, who has riden such a motorbike all year long. Troy Bayliss is an unbelievable rider indeed

> But what about the Ducatis towards the end of this season, those bikes were blindingly quick!! —————————————————————————————— Ducatis are really strange. In something like 3 or 4 races during the year, they have got a setup such as they are motorbikes from Mars, thay have got another pace, not even reachable by anybody else, Valentino included. The following race, Capirossi arrives 12th. Unbelievable. Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com

> He is still undoubtedly the best rider out there by a country mile though, the other guys just aren't in the same league! —————————————————————————————— I agree. But with those rules of points for each position reached, it is more prized the one who is more regular than the one who wins more. So, hats off to Nicky Hayden

> do you have any of the above noises going on? —————————————————————————————— Yes, music, whenever possible If you do, does it impact your fun? —————————————————————————————— At the beginning, to be honest , it's pleasant to have musics in the background; after a while, though, I am so concentrated on what WE are doing that there could be ANY music/noise/whatever in the background that it wouldn't bother me at all Stay safe out there Blue Skies and Soft Walls BASE #689 - base_689AT_NO_123_SPAMyahoo.com
