    I'm putting a playlist together on my new Ipod for the gym. I've been collecting music from all different people around the office, so I have a funny collection. So far, I've got A.F.I., AC/DC, Bad Religion, Black Eyed Peas.... and I'm moving through the alphabet. What do YOU like to listen to when you work out? I need fast, upbeat, make you wanna run your ass off stuff.

Probably why I feel so chlosterphobic about it. She wants to have lunch, go to the gym, meet my friends... and she just started yesterday. She's from Jordan and has been in the states for about 4 years now. Very very intelligent woman, very sweet, very out going. She's also doing an AWESOME job so far here at work. My best employee after only one day.

    She's actually really cute. But she seams a little too "innocent" in a way. I think my friends would scare her. Plus, I wouldn't want the stories to make it back to work.

    I would rather not see anyone from work outside of work. Especially working out. That's my stress relief time from this place. But she is sooooo persistant, and happy, and bubbly, and smiley. I feel really weird being like.... uh, no.

    I am a Sr. Instructional Designer. - Show up when I want. - Read dz.com while having my venti drip from Starbucks. - Make sure my team has filled out their tracking sheet and that everyone is on schedule. - Hassle people who aren't on schedule. - Review content from liguists and content specialists. - Storyboard hour long lessons, adding design specs for graphics, audio, narration, animation, and interactivity. - Instant Message with my buds. - Check in on dz.com. - Edit storyboards back from editor and client. - Hold spec meetings with design team to see if storyboards are within budget. - Shoot the shit with my boss. - Steal music from graphics dudes for my new Ipod. I think that's about all I do.

    The whole idea of this makes me nervous. I had a new employee start yesterday who seams like a total sweetheart. She doesn't know a lot of people from the area and is very (over) anxious to make friends at the office. She already brought workout clothes with her today, her second day, to follow me over to my gym after work tonight. And she wants to hang out and meet my friends. Something about this makes me uncomfortable. The people I work with know I skydive and have a bit of a crazy life, but they don't know the 1/2 of it if you ask me. I like it that way. What should I do??
