That sounds amazing!! I would love to do something like that. I love to sail and see cool things, and add in learning about something cool... sounds like my kind of vacation. But the cruise I won is more like the first one you mentioned. I can take either 4 day/3 night or 5 day/4 nights to the Bahamas, out of Miami. Still sounds fun since I've never done it and it's free.

Well, I've never been on a cruise. But last night I took first place in a poker tournament and the prize is a fabulous Caribbean cruise for two. I have one year to take it. So, who's been on a cruise? Tell me about it. Am I going to get sea sick??

True enough. But even outside the bar I have seen many more violent situations involving men than women.

but i have also stood two feet from a guy in a bar that got a bottle smashed over his head by another guy. what does that mean? i think men resort to violence much quicker than women. i agree on the socially acceptable side, but violence is violence. come to think of it though, about 8 years ago i was in a bar minding my own business talking to some friends, when a girl came up to me out of nowhere and threw her drink on me. she thought i was hitting on her boyfriend. she had the wrong girl because i was entirely confused by the situation. guess this stuff goes both ways.

why thank you lil lady! yay! i am so excited! 3 day weekend and the runway is open! YAY! guess that means no more fence through the middle of the landing area too!! that was also kind of entertaining... swooping the gate and the occasional mishap of sliding into the fence!

I agree with you that ANY form of abuse is just plain wrong and unacceptable. I don't know many women or men who find this behavior okay. I don't think that this should be included in the fundamental differences between men and women.

Just heard the good news. Skydive Orange is back to normal. The new runway will be ready for us starting this weekend. No more shuttle bus! YAY! Although, I kind of liked the short bus addition to my tandem videos.

Okay, everyday on dz.com we reestablish that men and women are very different physically, emotionally, psychologically, etc. There are endless jokes by men about women, and vise versa. I am one of the first to agree that there are major differences, and that they help keep life interesting. Out of curiosity, what do you think are some of the fundamental differences and why?

You got it... I have a stilleto 120, stilleto 135, and i just bought a samurai 120 (but you can't jump that because i will be obsessing over it!!! ha, sorry). As long as they don't have me doing videos on back to backs and I can keep myself packed, you can borrow all weekend.

Weekends! Weekdays are almost out of the question because the dropzone is 1 1/2 hours away. Plus, there's never a lot of fun jumpers there on weekdays, so it usually means that I'm shooting a tandem video if it's during the week.

Nice! I love that shot! My nephew Jeffrey who is 5 years old just started t-ball a few weeks ago. I went to his opening game. It's so much fun to watch. Of course, the kids barely know the rules, and are usually too busy finding cool rocks to get the ball... but it's only the start.
