    Hey Girl!!!! Hope you had fun this weekend!! I'll be heading out there after work on Friday and it's about a 3 1/2 hour drive... so I'll be there around 9pm-ish. I can't wait! I'm so excited to meet and party with everyone!!! This is going to totally freakin rock!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

    ahhhhhh. that clears up some confusion. ha. split personalities, huh?? kidding! it's clear you "get it"... at least what we are trying to say. and i don't think anybody is trying to tell you how to spend money or what kind of dive you should be doing. i think we all have one universal goal, and that is safety. after that, make of it what you will. but i just spent an entire season doing zoo dives freeflying thinking i was living it up. i'll tell you what, it got boring quick. now i'm kind of a "snob" about who i jump with and what we do. i'll jump with any skill level as long as there are set goals for each dive. i want to learn something on every dive or else it IS a waste of my $20. and i find that the more i learn/achieve/acomplish on each dive, the more fun i have!!! see yah up there.

I agree with these guys too... I made 11 jumps this weekend... 9 freefly dives and 2 tracking dives. All of them were dirtdived but 1... exits, manuvers, docks, breakoffs, and all. But hey, have fun on all your crazy zoo dives. I'm sure you will get sick of them and start asking more questions about structure and planning.

    yeah, a lot of people said this already, but goggles were my first purchase in this sport. student goggles do suck... especially if you have contacts... you want them to fit your face well. then i bought my altimeter. then rig. then helmet. then suits. enjoy bud!!!!

    I totally agree that there is a lesson to be learned... but that is why it should go in Safety and Training... in my opinion. I check the incident forum at the end of each weekend to make sure nobody I know was injured and to learn about new things that are going wrong. Again, this is just a difference in opinion. But i just don't think it's the right place. Out.

    Keep getting this message: Your attachment was not uploaded successfully: The attachment exceeds the maximum attachment size (1.17 KB) What is going on? Each time I try to upload an image to a PM it seams that error message changes the required file size. Before it gave me a limit of 11 kb, so I downsized the file. Now it's at 1.17. Can't seam to get this picture out. Any help? Thanks!!!!!

    ; 11; 1 - My HD is coming right along! Got to go on two different 4way HD dives. Had my 5 seconds of fame on dailies! YAY! And my boy got to jump on the bigways this weekend!!! Life is good! 11 - 11 kickass skydives... including 2 very fun tracking dives. Seeing as it was supposed to storm all weekend, I couldn't have asked for a better time. 1 - Yup. We bought a winabago (we can't decide how to spell that). Our first home together. Yay!!!! Hahahaha. We have a bid in on ebay for a cow skull for the front of it.

    Wow. That sucks Michele. I feel for you. I've broken my tailbone twice... fractured it once when I slipped free climbing and fell 20 feet onto the rock... landed on my ass. Then chipped it skiing. I still can't do situps without quite a bit of pain. I wouldn't even bother going to the doctor. They're going to take a bunch of xrays.... charge you a lot of money... give you some mild pain killers... and send you home with a donut pillow to sit on for 6 weeks. My friends made me an adorable patchwork pillow case for my donut pillow so I wouldn't feel like such an "ass". haha. Good luck, sweetie!
