My brother was a little shit. Love him to death now. Must have been the sibbling rivalry thing growing up. He used to call me a cow 50 times a day. Was pretty tough on me. Took me years to get over it. But that's what brothers are for, right?

Most likely what they are looking for is anything that is seriously delinquent - 180 days late or more. THey are also looking for bankrupcies or major law suits, etc. A few little glitches shouldn't hurt you, however it would be in your best interest to make an attempt to clean them up. I've been going through the whole investigation for job thing too. Fun, eh?

My sincere condolences to Reed's family and friends. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I understand way to well what it is to lose someone close to you to this sport. I also felt similar feelings of anger toward friends who could do nothing but stare at the ground when I felt the most intense pain ever. Like myself, you must understand that people mourn differently and show their sympathy differently. For now, please know that many of us feel your pain and would love to reach out with support. Eternal blue skies Reed.

For Those Who Knew Someone In/Around the Twin Towers on 9/11...
weegegirl replied to PLFXpert's topic in The Bonfire
My brother Matt was running late that morning and was stuck in traffic. Otherwise he would have been there. It was my nephew's birthday and him and some of his NYU buddies were walking to meet my brother at the towers. They made it to a few blocks away when the first strike happened. They were all split up from each other in the chaos. My brother-in-law was supposed to be there for a Microsoft conference that morning, he got called off of it last minute. However many people close to me lost friends and family. I was at work when it all went down. My father called me crying hysterically because he thought Matt was there. It took the entire day to get in touch with him. I will never forget that stress and fear. -
driving past the pentagon this morning gave me goosebumps. i grew up just outside of nyc. as a kid, most of my friend's parents would take the train into the city every morning to work, including my own father. many of them at the twin towers. 9/11 changed the lives of many people i grew up with. i was very lucky as my brother and nephew were right there and made it out. it was the longest day in my life waiting and not knowing and not being able to reach anyone by cell phone. my thoughts and prayers are with many today.

11 jumps Was having a hard time dragging my ass back to the dz after losing Mike. It was not easy. But I'm glad I did. Swoop light was ON on Saturday. Made it extra fun.

He's one of my favorite authors. If you are reading this and you don't know who he is, go pick up one of his books. I doubt you will be disappointed. I think all of us could use a yearly refresher from "All I Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten."

This is why I want the memorial stone next to my Father's grave. It might be appropriate to leave some ashes there. When a body is cremated there are a lot more ashes than one would expect. It's fairly easy to split it up - some here, some there. Oh, and before they cremated me, I would obviously want any organs that could be reused, probably not my liver , to be distributed to those in need.

It's morbid, yes. But it's a good question. I honestly think that everyone should have SOMEONE, preferably in their immediately family, that they discuss this with. If not, write it down and put it somewhere safe that will be found if it is ever needed. Me? I would like to be cremated. I would like some of my ashes spread over my home dropzone, and some of my ashes spread in the Ocean off the coast of South Carolina, where I vacationed in the summer as a kid. Then I would like a memorial stone placed by the side of my Father's grave.

I was very sheltered back then and that was not the only reason. I think it was the girl on girl porno you wouldn't turn off. My tollerance level has grown over the years but I still have never flashed anyone in my life damnit. And I will keep the nickname Nippless Bitch that my fellow jumpers gave me here at Orange. Yes, there were a lot of boobies in that movie.

You were probably at the dropzone. GOSH! It was during my first whuffo weekend in like 5 years other than RW. BUT... you are in luck my friend, it was SOOOOOOO good that I think I'll have to go see it again! I shall let you know so that the EPA doesn't come after your ass.
