So, true. People get so caught up in the moment of trying to "get the job", that they forget to look down the job a year or two. I'm not one to talk. I can never answer that question... "what do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?" my answer....... being a dz bum, retired, with a nice savings. any more questions???

Interviewing is cake. Just go in there, SMILE, be confident, don't ever put yourself down or any company you've worked for in a negative light, and be enthusiastic. Make them think that job is really important to you because you really want to be part of such a cool thing. In this case, the fact that the company is so young, and you believe in what they are doing, and you want to be around to see them growup. Being the interviewer really turned the lights on for me. I love watching people squirm a little. Keeps things cool. Just remember, everybody is a little nervous in an interview...... even the person interviewing you. Good luck!

sort of. i told her there would be NO shortage of hours, so expect to make about double the number she's thinking of. i told her about ten times that we are working at a REALLY crazy pace with very tight deliverables. I told her I didn't want her to run into any surprises. She was apprently good with that.

yeah. this is TRUE! but.... everyone loved her, so that's cool. and to me... anyone can learn a job. but you can't learn how to be cool. so, personality matters a whole lot more when hiring. if they won't fit in with the team..... then they will fail at the job. Can't spend 15 hour days with a teammate who sucks.

OMG!!! I love her!!! She was soooooooo cool!!! Young, brilliant, out going, funny! (not to mention the men in the office will LOVE me if I hire her cuz she's a lil hottie) She turns 1/2 way through our talk and looks at some skydiving pictures on my wall and goes... "OMG! Is that you??" I told her that part of the job was putting up with my Monday morning stories from the weekend's activities. She said she would love to go and try it! (That sold me) Then, I introduced her to my Art Director, who is a surfer, and she freaked when she saw all his surfing posters up. She was like... wow! you guys are cool! (looks can be decieving I guess) I just ran to HR and begged them to hire her no matter what.
