  5. I agree, I had a shoulder surgery 1 month ago and all i think about is skydiving, I havent reached the hundred mark yet but im doing rehab and physical therepy with a goal of getting beack in the air. That is making me work twice as hard as i would otherwise
  6. Have Fun, Eloy is a great place to learn. The instructors know there shit and are very helpful. I cant wait to get back to jumping (shoulder surgery). Good luck and relax
  7. I have only jumped a few rigs (student and rentals) i bought a used G4 with about 25 jumps on it and i have put about 25 on it and i Love it. Very Comfortable and easy to pack.
  8. i did one Dec 27th at the Holiday boogie in eloy and liked it so much i did another on the 28th. For some reason crawling up on the side of the basket to Jump was the scariest part. It is very quiet but 0 to 120 in 12 sec is the shit
  9. My Level 7 jump in aff (first Solo) was on a full load in a skyvan. I was first out so on the ride up i was right on the edge of the bench looking down through the gap. I couldn't wait for the door to open so i could jump the hell out.
  10. The skydive AZ boogie was a blast. I got to spend the 26th, 27th and the 28th. I jumped with people from all over the country, NY, Texas, Iowa ect. I got to do 2 Ballon jumps and what a blast that was. I dislocated my shoulder on the last jump on the 3rd day there. That was the 2nd time it has happened in a month and a half so its time to get it fixed. Scheduled for surgery in about 2 weeks. Overall the boogie was a good time
  11. Thumbs up!!! They all looked very happy when they landed.
  12. With planes dropping loads every few minutes, that's not a great idea! There's a canopy safety seminar Saturday evening. You should try to make it to that. I will for sure be there for that. If its the last load of the day how is it a bad idea?
  13. Ill be in Eloy this weekend... Anybody wanna do a full altitude hop n pop
  14. Im packing a new storm also, its very difficult. How do you like the way it fly's ? i will jump it the first time this weekend
  15. Good luck on the packing, It didnt make sense to me at first but now its pretty easy. lots of practice helps. I got weathered out a few times but stayed at the dz all day and packed over and over and it really helped
  16. 4500? i was required to do a 4500 hop and pop to get my license. I hated my hop and pop when i did it but i do one every weekend i jump now. I love it. Im doing a 13500 h&p this weekend
  17. How High was it? Im hoping to do a full altitude this weekend
  18. July 2nd 2010 did a tandem at age 46. Started my aff the next week
  19. Now There's some valuable Advice Ya, actually it is. I don't read on here very often anymore, but I'm wondering what petejones did to make everyone on here hate him? There was no "hate" intended. I'm still very new to packing so it is getting packed as quick as i am comfortable with. It is a 230... So quick isnt working out so well right now. I pack my rental main in about 15 min
  20. Now There's some valuable Advice
  21. Well i just packed it for the first time....... That Sucked. Its like there's a small air pump under there filling it up with air. I thought about having a packer do it at the boogie but i kinda like doing things myself. Then i know its my fault( sloppy pack or body position) if something happens. The reverse S fold seamed to work better getting into the bag.
