The problem is that you are dealing with the wrong person. I ahave only been in the sprot for two years and have to admit that some of the badest assed skydivers that I have met are chicks. The insturctor that graduated me so long ago, a female is still one of my most powerful mentors. Lowtimers will be lowtimers and some of the older cadre will never change, but if you deal with skydivers and not skygods, you will probably be pleased with the amount of knowledge shared without the condesending tone. BTW I agree, your colors are your colors, as a dude that jumps a white, pink, and lime green saber, as long as it opens it could be puke brown and I am a happy camper, I'm not afriad of dying, I'm afraid of never really living- Erin Engle

I just graduated last year and my first solo was pretty tame, fall, flip, track, pull. Ask some of the more experienced jumpers at your home DZ and also your graduationg instructor for advice, they may be able to tell you something that you may need to work on as yuor career progresses, we never stop learning. Oh and by the way, don't forget to buy your graduating insturctor a case o' beer (their choice of course) watch out for pie and good luck!!
