  1. thats great schutztj, when i did my release jump i didnt realize it was my release jump,, so when i debriefed my instructor asked how i thought it went? i said it felt a little sloppy, thats when he said thats because i let you go.. so in the end it was actually a really good skydive with good heading maintanance.. i rafuse to tip toe thru life, only to arrive safely at death
  2. your d-1 will go great.. remember to relax.. on your turns i noticed ya really gotta dig for it, but once your goin remember to counter to stay on heading.. good luck and have fun.. i rafuse to tip toe thru life, only to arrive safely at death
  3. d-1 and d-2 refers to where you are in your aff/afp training.. im doing afp which means i did 3 tandoms first refered to as t-1 t-2 t-3.. then did my first assisted solo (b-1) with 1 instructor as opposed to 2 instructors as in aff training.. so d-1 referes to your 4th assisted solo.. i rafuse to tip toe thru life, only to arrive safely at death
  4. so i did afp d-1 today.. went great! did 4x 90 dagree turns my instructor nathan felt it went so well even had me do some docking.. had a stand up landing while crabbing (feel great about that).. good patern and fm.. all around good skydive!!!! i f*&^in love this sport!!!!! on to d-2.. i rafuse to tip toe thru life, only to arrive safely at death
  5. just a nickname someone gave me along time ago that didnt really stick.. but it makes for a good screen name.. lol!!
  6. i was hooked from the start! a little over a yr ago i did my first tandem.. from that point it was all about coming up with the cash to pay for afp training.. well here i am over a yr later getting ready to move on to afp d1.. first 3 afp jumps went great, good 90 degree turns recognizable patterns & good landings (almost stood up my first solo landing but stumbled a bit).. still felt great about it! so any advice on my d1 jump or in general is very welcome.. thanks and blue skies!! i rafuse to tip toe thru life, only to arrive safely at death
