100 Skydivers in San Francisco (T Mobile Event)
bodypilot1 replied to jacketsdb23's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
With the pleasure of organizing and leading this wingsuit flock for the event, my view was nothing short of epic. Skydiving Innovations and T Mobile are a class act. http://www.teamillvision.com www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

And a cheap one at that, Matt....? I hope you didn't give any the footage for free, and cover the overnight shipping from your own pocket, like you did last time? Footage of Zach's bad flying should draw good cash! I'm glad Scott was ok with that one.....

A Few Pics of Some Birds from the Weekend
bodypilot1 replied to ScottGray's topic in Wing Suit Flying
For some, flying with their legs close together when learning to backfly helps them get used to the position until they become comfortable in that orientation. The trade off of doing that is that you lose some lift and drive in the process. If you're filming others or trying to stay under a moderate flock that is sometimes what you have to do. Flying with your legs closer together also allows you to get away with a less than ideal body position which is often seen in those learning by the bending or piking at the hip usually accompanied by the head/chin tilted toward the chest. Conversely, flying with the leg wing fully extended, legs and torso in line and the head tilted back, creates a lot of drive and lift and on suits with large tail wings, can be difficult to control and or maneuver, especially when first learning. Once the position of backflying becomes comfortable for the person, being able to fly in both positions, and those in between, should be the goal to achieve as they all have their time and circumstance to be used plus it makes you a more rounded backflyer. Charlie was being sarcastic He was back flying like a pro on his second wingsuit jump..... www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
Flying over the top of this had me laughing my ass off. I though I was going to have to spray water on them to get them seperated Even though Brian fucked up the dive plan, the laugh was worth it.... www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

You dont want to come to Lodi then for the $13 jumps, or the 2 Otters, Beech 99, or the KingAir 200, that would be crazy. The tandems can be by the hundreds on the weekend, but they have a plane solely for them. The DZ also has alot of freefying, belly flying, CRW, and the largest flock of wingsuits in the US jumping there. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
