As every AZ Challenge we do should...... It was a great weekend, well except for the winded day. Good thing the movies in Casa Grande are free. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

This would be answered best by a local Instructor that has seen a few of your landings. At your weight, the canopy size seems abit too conservative, but there could be other factors involved as to your choice......... Get some experienced canopy coaching at your home DZ. Does a Tandem count as a jump towards licences?
bodypilot1 replied to sd-slider's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
A skydive is a skydive. If he made 10 tandems with an unlicensed non USPA member tandem master, or 50 skydives signed verified by a non USPA member, and then wanted to count it toward his USPA license, it would only take one signature by a USPA instructor or S&TA to verify from his log book that he did the jumps needed to get his license. Then I guess it wasn't a skydive if the instructor wasn't a USPA member? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

Chaos Kitty and Yardhippie do 30 on their 30th!
bodypilot1 replied to yardhippie's topic in The Bonfire
30 jumps in a day should be a piece of CAKE, I mean, you'll even have time after the jumps for cake. I did 22 on a hot summer day packing everyone myself! Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -
My students do. And they will always have the opportunity to ask me any questions they may have for the rest of their skydiving career.

IMO, anyone that holds a tandem rating should be able to control their exits, and be able to deploy the drouge while stable, and have the passenger into the relative wind for correct bridle/drouge placement within 10 seconds after leaving the aircraft. If a TI is exiting and not able to control their stablility and deploying the drouge to gain stability, or causing an unsafe drouge deployment with the possibility of drouge entanglement, they should have their rating suspended until they can exit safely with a tandem examiner. I'll be organizing wingsuit flocks during Skydive Oregons "ALL OF THE ABOVE" Boogie again this year August 25th-27th 2006. Skydive Oregon in Molalla is an awesome DZ with one of the most beautiful views from the altitude and one the ground. Aircraft=Otters Extra large grass landing area, HUGE swoop pond. Camping/showers on the DZ and bon fires and BBQ's at night. I will have demo suits from Birdman, Phoenix Fly and Jii Wings so contact me ahead of time to make sure I'll have one that will fit you. NorCal will have a strong and talented flock heading up for some fun no dout. Hope to see you there! Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

WestCoast Wingsuit Weekend May 12-14th 2006
bodypilot1 replied to bodypilot1's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Like Kris said, great weekend! 20 flockers, up to 19way flocks from the Otter. Some worked, some didn't, but great fun! Fun 7way flock into my ranch Friday at sunset, and alota fuckin wine consumed between sunset and sunrise...... Today we did some smaller 8 way triple stack vertical flocks that were a blast. -
