I was curious if USPA keeps license information on file for expired members. For example, my USPA membership expires 5/31/2017 and I leave on deployment very shortly after that. If i let it expire and then renew it in October when I get back, will I run into any issues?

I am considering purchasing a cookie fuel helmet, however my only concern is that the ditter will be difficult to hear in freefall. Can anyone chime in that has experience with this helmet or something similar?
