I usually do 90 degree hook to the left using the front riser. Then I do a 270 degree turn to the right using the right toggle. I let go of the toggle and grab the right front riser and do another 180 degrees. This gets my canopy going really fast. I then grab the left front riser and do a 360 turn and land. Seb, don't even stress about it bro. I know a lot of people gave you a hard time, but I don't think it was because they were trying to be mean to you (including myself). Everyone was just joking around. I was very impressed with Vinny being so upbeat about it. He was laughing the whole time on the van. Seb, it was just an accident and everyone realizes that it was. It could have happened to anyone, including me. Now what I saw from my perspective. We exited the King Air, the foramtion started funneling and went to shit. We exited at 15,000. Not but a few seconds later I sar Vinny's cutaway hadle pulled out. I didn't see by who or by what. I watched the handle float away at which point I let go of the formation. I looked at my handle just to make sure that it wasn't mine. Seb stayed with Vinny and I could clearly see him trying to tell Vinny that his handle is gone. Seb did an awesome job being right there and telling other to get away while trying to communicate with Vinny. By 13,000 I decided that this skydive is over and tracked till 6,000. At which point I turned around and tried to look for others in freefall. I couldnt see anyone anywhere so i deployed immidiatly and was in the saddle by 4,500. I'm glad everyone was safe. them them fuck them... The weekend was incredible. Yet again I met so many great people. It was nice to put faces together with those who I have only met online. I have video of the rumbunctious party that took place on Staurday night. I watched it last night and couldnt stop laughing. Congrats to those who joined the Ten15 club. Once Sebazz posts the cutaway ordeal I will reply to it and let you know what I saw from my point of view. Hats off to Seb for the hospitality I experienced. On Friday I was recovering from yet another hangover and Seb was at work. During lunch he stopped by the house and filled up a bucket with at least 30-40 beers and left me alone with it. I tell you it was hard to not down a huge quantity of beer by myself. I tried to restrain myself so I wouldnt be completly fucked by the time Seb got back from work. That didnt work too well.
