    I do everything(scuba, surf, skydive....) in my contacts. But I have also learned the defensive eye position. Whenever I'm in a situation thta my contacts could come out I just keep my eyes only half open so that they cannot escape. I work on boats in Alaska for a living and have worked through several Hurricane force winds without ever loosing a contact. I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky

    sometimes if you stop looking so hard that person appears in you life. I know from personal experience that when I feel like I need a woman in my life that it's the very way that I look for them that leads me to believe that there aren't any "right ones" out there for me. But when I stop and just live as who I am better women seem to come into my life. I get the impression that people are generally insecure and when they get into close quarters with other people they try too hard to be someone that people like.. making them shallow and superficial.     who is to say how someone else should live their life. I think that if a person lives to enjoy life as who they are they ultimately find direction if not purpose. Who is to say though that one has a single purpose that drives their existance. I doubt that it's often as simple as that..not that it couldn't be though.     I think that holidays are what you make them. They are only worth as much as you let them be. I've spent few holidays with my family and loved ones in the last ten years because I have been out to sea working. My holiday season is spent with my crew of alaskan fishermen. (leaving again tomorrow) I have the attitude that I take what I can get when I have it and then make the most of it. Who needs a holiday to bring that out in someone, be it family or other? I know that the way my life works that it is IMPOSSIBLE to be with someone all the time no matter who it is. I get by only when I see the bigger picture.     Whatever you do make sure that you re acclemate them to the new water when you get set up again. Also you don't want to leave them with only a small supply of water for too long .. they will run out of oxygen and suffocate. In the past I've scooped them up and kept them in zip tie bags for a few hours while I got set up. If you then put them in a cooler (better insulation) and don't wait too long you should have no prob... Also if you put them in a bucket you also have to worry about what was in the bucket in the past. I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky

    I'm not against the farms.. Some farms infact are prohibited from releasing their turtles into the wild because (in some circumstances) the farm turtles will do more harm to the turtle gene pool than good I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky

    The Green Iguana is protected too but it's a staple for these peoples diets. I understand all too well how native cultures put species at risk by personally working with the Giant leatherback seaturtle conservation programs in Costa Rica. Watching natives dig up nest sites for food.. It's discouraging But those things take time. One cannot change centuries of lifestyles with a few years of good intentions.     I have 4 pistols-Ruger Black hawk 357 mag, SW .40 cal, 9 mm, and a .22 and a few Rifles SKS (with folding monte carlo stock, scope, 30 shot clip and attatchable 38 mm launcher. A few shot guns, a 30 30 and aSavage 7 mag with 4x12 scope. I respectfully enjoy firearms. I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky

    I stay at hostels whenever I'm traveling in reasonably safe countries. I travel alot by myself(because everyone else is broke or lame) But I have never had trouble meeting people of like interests and traveling companions when staying at hostels.     I work in sometimes Minus 50 in the Bering sea of Alaska and dislike the cold.... But I do it because I have to. I'll jump in any temperature Because I want to. The difficult part is finding people to fill the load. I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky

    I'm a skyvan fan myself for solo exits, I've jumped the otter, king air, porter, cessna 182, c 130 but had the best solo exits out of the skyvan I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky
