  1. Hi Pops I am relatively new to the sport but what Brain said make a lot of sense to me. Surely if you can see that the jumper/jump group is behind the plane irrespective their angle to the horizon it should be relative save to exit? Also doesn't it take around 3 - 5 seconds for the jump group to exit? So if the group before you is already behind the plane and you take about 3-5 seconds to exit, it should be safe to jump?
  2. Brian said when the group is behind the plane and at 45 degree angle.

  17. Hi Everybody I started of at the beginning of year with the static line course when it I went up in the plane and just froze and refused to jump. However the refusal became a personal matter for me, and I did a tandem jump and I was immediately hooked. I did the switch-over from static line to AFF and did my first jump last Saturday at Johannesburg Skydiving Club. Upon landing I flared too late and ruptured some of my tendons. Having said that it was one of the most awesome experiences in my life and I will not let this put me down.... I also had the 2 most wonderful coaches and everybody at the club let you feel right at home. Hope 2 be in the skies soon.
