  2. Got one question tough, what is a Back to belly ("gainer") exit? As JohanW told me to practice? Or am I now asking one silly question?
  3. Thanks very much for the advice so far!! It's really helping a lot:)
  4. Becuase of the enourmus adrenaline rush, and the freedom. Once I've got myself when I was in the plane, and thinking about nothing else than jumping out of it. It takes much of the daily stress away!
  5. Hello Everyone, This year I'm going back to empuriabrava and of course I'm planning to make some jumps. I've allready decided to take 6 formation instruction jumps for my A licence. I also want to make some fun jumps, but does someone have some ideas about what to do on that jumps? Maybe some exercices I can do or something? Hope to hear from you guys soon! Blue skies! Peter
  6. I'm not an instructor or something, but this is what my experiences are with my first jumpsuit: I ordered one at my rigger. I oredered one with booties, the reason is (as I was being told by an FS jumper), that when I should've buy such an suit, I should just as well get booties right away, because I can instantely learn to fly with them, and if I don't want to use them, I can fold them to the inside. About the grips, I got a black suit, with red grips, the people at my DZ told that it was a smart choise, because they are clear to see. I saw someone with a black suit, and black grips, they also were clear to see, but that was because they had a blue line around them, so don't know how it'll look without the blue, but ill guess it'll be pretty hard to see or find them.. Hope you're finding this information usefull Good luck with your choise and blue skies!
  7. I'm wondering how it is. I orderd mine last tuesday.. Looking forward to have a lot of amazing jumps with it:D. Only thing I think wil bug me out, is packing.. Because of it being ZP, and me being a not so experienced packer (A)
  8. I'm sure you want to continue skydiving after your tandem! Same thing happened to me, and it was the best choise I made in my life so far :D
  9. Same problem here! Don't have to much money to spent either (common student problem ;) ), but it's a new passion, which i'll have my whole life long, that's for shure!
  10. Awesome dude! I just wanna say, for the next few weeks, just eat bread and drink water, so you can get to do your AFF sooner ;). I'll best you'll love it! I did mine last august, and since then I'm totally hooked to the sport. I just don't have days when I'm not thinking about skydiving, it's just the best :D. You'll notice it from the small things, like always looking for blue skies, even on days when you're not jumping, to getting to the DZ again, and just knowing you'll be havin' a blast! It's just the best thing ever :D Blue Skies mate!
  11. Such an amazing thing to do! To do the thing you've always wanted to do, and even help others with it! I'm seriously considering doing it also..

  20. Both of the things you say are fully true ;) I really hope that this saturday or next sunday the weather will be better, because else I'm forced to take a refreshment course because I didn't jump for 3 months :( @ The Don: I know that he was really close to me, but I also know that he knows the risks of it, because he is one of the best cameraguys walking around right there!
  21. Yes I know=) My parents dit gave me some financial support tough;) But I also hoop to keep up the finances to do my jumps every month.. We'll see=) Thanks anyway!
  22. Hello everyone! I'm new to the dropzone.com forum's, so I think it's an good idea to introduce myself: My name is Peter Gruijters and I live in Eindhoven (The Netherlands, that also maybe explains why my english typing skills can be a little bad(A)). I'm 18 years old and my first experience with skydiving was in 2008. My parents gave my an tandem jump because I just graduated from high school. From the moment I landed, I just knew it: I want to do this too! And so I dit, last summer I took the AFF course at Skydive Empuriabrava, and did 10 consolidation jumps afterward. After coming home from my holiday, I went to the nearest DZ and became a member of it. I only made 1 jump there, but that's just because of all the bad weather we have here in The Netherlands. If you want to know more, just ask =D Anyway, I hope to have a really good time here
