Thanks Betsy! I wish I could go to the Elsinore boogie, but I have college classes that I cant miss But things are coming along quite nicely,I think. Start ground school next weekend and my abbreviated AFF( I think I start at like level 4 or something since I did the other level objectives in my learning tandems). Now I'm going to start buying bits and peices of gear...goggles,logbook,altimeter etc. Hopefully I'll have my own rig by spring break or summer of next yr. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

2:2:1 2 student-learning tandems made in which I turned,pulled and worked on canopy techniques.2 very good ratings I recieved from my very cool JM for both jumps...whiched cleard me for my transition to a shorter AFF style program through the Integrated Student Program I'm doing.1 sore ankle from a no-wind landing that was a bit fast. I understand where you are coming from. Recently I was lost and had nothing going for me. My fiance, whom I loved dearly, hurt me terribly and left me.I quit college not once, but twice. I struggled through a sea of debt and lost my job. You can ask any of these guys on here how screwed up I was. But I finally decided to stop the "poor little me" crap and do something about my directionless life. I am now going back to college as a Criminal Justice major and will eventually persue my BA. I have now paid off two of the numerous credit cards, with hopes of paying off most of my other debts by the end of this year. And now it looks as if I may be getting a job offer from the sheriff's dept.As soon as I get some cash flowing..I'm going to start AFF again so I can eventually get my USPA. Only you can live your life, so choose for you,not others.Do what makes you happy. Without happiness,you arent truely living. You are just going through the motions. This is just my humble opinon. I have no problem with other people's personal choices as long as they dont effect me. I, myself am extremely into the opposite sex...but hey, thats just me. The tat is a Native American dreamcatcher on my left hip.If and when I get extra cash I'm going to get a few more that I'm in the process of designing. Yeah, I was engaged to a skydiver. He introduced me to the sport, I loved it and I'm now addicted to it. But he left me anyway because he didnt think he was getting to jump as much with me as without me(even though every weekend was spent with me readin a book at the dz while he jumped.)It really sucked,and I'm still trying to recover from it. But I'm in love with the sport, so oh well! Now I'm a single female skydiver...all of which are good things! lol "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
