Yesterday,I got my hemp/closing pin necklace that I ordered from Pammi and Merrick. It soo cute and everything I was hoping it would be.I had them put my nickname ("Moody") on it and it looks great!They were really great about everything I requested and worked with me on all of it. For those of you who havent gotten one from them,are thinking about it,or for those of you who need them to make ya another one...go for it! They are great!The customer service is excellent and they work fast.(it even made it here in time for me to be able to wear it to the boogie this weekend)I love mine and will definately be a repeat customer. I would have never ended up with my loser ex. For that matter,I would have avoided most of my crappy relationships. I would have spent more time with the people closest to me before I lost them forever.(my grandfather died last year) I wouldnt have allowed myself to get into debt. I would have lived and loved life more,rather than whinning and being upset over things I had no control over. I would have tried more in school and not blown off my first yr of college(tryin to fix that now..my GPA suffered badly!) I wouldnt have stayed in a job I hated and made me stressed out. All of it! I could practically see it in my sleep. I still remember the way the cold air hit me when the door came open and the way we goofed off in the plane the whole way up.I remember my surprise at the silence under canopy and the rush of free fall.My first words when I touched the ground were "That was badass!I've gotta to do it again!!" I've been watching a home video that tagged along behind a rookie firefighter that went into Tower 1 as soon as the first plane hit.Then watched in grief and horror as Tower 2 was hit,then as it collapsed,and as fire,debris,and bodies rained from the sky.As the police,fireman,EMT and every public safety official struggled to live and help fight for lives that day. I watched the faces of the civilians in the streets;the disbelief and fear in their eyes.People trying to survive;people desperate;people in pain;people in grief.Those trying to help,or the victims of the towers,wandering around in shock.Others in a panic,heart-wrenching search for loved ones lost. I watched, crying,all those emotions back again, and remember where I was and what I was doin this day last year. I will not forget. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
