Soooo.... I've been training for roller derby and here soon I'll be allowed to actually compete in bouts. The big thing, however, is I NEED A STAGE NAME! I agree with Itchy- I worked with Mike Cummings a few times and he's over there right now. Very patient- which is good because I'm not the best.... by any means... he was great. he can spot any flying I do believe. So, if you work on head down, I'm pretty sure he'll work great with ya.

got it. love it. I've had the original iPhone, then got the 3G, and I freakin' love the 4. the camera is much better than past iPhones, flash included now. everything moves very smoothly when working on different things. I love the folders, makes it easier to get to places and not as cluttered. I have no problems with reception, unless I put it under my leg when I'm driving.... but, that's because my leg is covering the antenna. I would definitely suggest getting one. I haven't had the opportunity to video chat with anyone just yet. We've both naturally progressed when it came to both tunnel flying and freefalling. So, sitting in the tunnel, our instructor was explaining it to us. I took naturally to backflying. My sister, not so much. After our session, we got out of the tunnel and went upstairs to take off the gear and go over how we did with our instructor. He explained to my sister that she needs to keep her legs a little more rigid, blahdyblah blah. He looked to me and said, wow, you really did great! next time we'll start off with backflying again but then work our way to your next objective. First thing I said before even thinking about it.... "What can I say? I'm just great on my back!" not too shabby! As soon as I get the money together and find a good artist in my area (my old one that I absolutely loved past away a few years ago ), I'll be getting another myself. It'll be on my ribs. A fully opened canopy, an empty harness hanging below with a yellow ribbon and a little ribbon that says "Fly Free". Kinda a mix between my love for the sky and a little memorial for a friend who has passed (yellow ribbon is also a suicide awareness ribbon).

Yea, Playa Linda is in Titusville, well, canaveral national seashore. I grew up in Titusville and we would go during the day when we skipped school... but ended up going to the "normal" part of the beach. There was a post in the most recent Parachutist about Nick, really quite a beautiful tribute to his life. If you haven't seen it, definitely check it out. His family did a really phenomenal memorial for him.
